My Photographer and Director of Media Relations Son Loves These
I bought these gloves @Christmas for my son who is the director of media relations for a college athletics program in a part of the country that gets frigid temps during a longer winter season. He often times is out taking pictures as part of his game day responsibilities for sports he is not the primary contact and he has either gone without wearing anything and his hands have frozen or he tries to wear some gloves but can't take pictures as well. He is also in the press-box during many events; often times the press boxes aren't heated/well insulated or windows/doors are open so it stays colder in there.I found these while researching gloves for photographers. He has loved having these gloves and he leaves them at his desk at work so they're always accessible to him when he needs them. He says the gloves are comfortable and while not the warmest gloves he's ever worn they definitely are better than most he's tried and they provide a great protection with a combination of warmth and functionality either taking pictures, doing live-stats, posting to social media or writing stories on this computer. His co-worker and friend who is the director of creative media, is always taking pictures and video at every sporting event, really likes my son's gloves and wants to order some. The material is quality and the gloves appear to have been made well. There are no compromised seams, spots, blemishes, holes, tears, or scuffs and so far they have held up well to my son's work demands. The velcro is secure, folding back the fingers/thumb tips is easy/quick and the tips are held strongly/stay out of the way, no fumbling. The cost is well worth it for the quality of the item and for what they have provided for my son.Highly recommend giving these a try!

Comfortable gloves
Product received ahead of scheduled arrival. Glove fits comfortably, but is a quarter inch still too big (Medium size glove). I have small hands, and wish manufacturers would make a size Small too.As other have stated, these gloves are NOT insulated, and will NOT keep your hands warm in the cold weather. The gloves WILL keep your hands free from fish slime/scales. Gripping fish is ok, and the grip surface is not tacky like other name brands. I don't like the tacky surface of other brands, hence this Palmyth brand is perfect.Index and Thumb tips of both hands fold out to expose the finger tips as seen in the product image. This really helps in handling/tying hooks/tackle, holding the line for casting, or using your smartphone touch screen.Overall, excellent product. Just wish there was a Small size glove.Update May 4, 2019Ordered a new pair to replace my old pair, and added an image of the before and after for comparison. In the image, the glove on the right is my original pair, after EXTENSIVE and HEAVY usage. On the left is my new pair (left hand). As you can see, the gloves lived up to its life as much as it could. It lasted about 2-3 months of HEAVY use until the outer layer on the thumb and index finger wore off. EXCELLENT gloves and very durable, which is why I re-ordered a new pair. I'd like to try out the Palmyth Cold Weather gloves when and if they ever market a size SMALL.PALMYTH, please consider manufacturing a size SMALL gloves for us folks with smaller than medium hands. =)

Perfect cold weather fishing gloves
I bought these gloves for fishing and I’m very impressed with them. They are very warm and waterproof, and they fit well on my hands. The flip back finger caps are very handy and easy to use. I can check my phone or take pictures without exposing my fingers to the cold. The gloves also have a good grip and feel on my fishing rod and other equipment. The wrist straps and elastic cuffs keep the gloves in place and prevent any cold air from getting in. The gloves are also durable and easy to clean. I like the color and style of the gloves too. They are great gloves for anyone who loves fishing in cold weather. I highly recommend them!

Good Fit, Functional, But Has Problems
The problems with these have to do with the velcro system. They are also not very warm, but if it wasn't for these issues, I would give a better rating and would not want to replace them as soon as possible. First is when the fingers are all covered, in that you can scratch/cut your face by wiping with the glove because of the velcro..be very careful, these aren't built with sweat wiping in mind, or especially if you wipe your lips..youch! Secondly is while engaging the velcro, you need to work every single one of them to get them fully engaged...then if you need to reach into a coat pocket, forget about them staying in place, you will have to work them again to re-secure the velcro. If this glove was done with magnets, it would get a 5 star rating because of the fit, the quality, and finger design are all really good.

Great glove for moderately cold temperatures
These are very comfortable gloves to use and wear. They looks nice and I found the price very affordable and good value. They are medium-weight, in terms of their cold-worthiness. In Minnesota currently, temps range from 15F-30F (-9C/-1C) in the morning which is when I wear them. Based on recent experience, I’d recommend them for general use down to about 25F and if you’re going to be active when outdoors, then maybe down to 15F. If it’s any colder then those temps, I’d suggest a heavier glove. They are built very well and there are pull-asides for the thumb and forefinger to enable the wearer to use touch-screens. When not needed, the pull-aside is almost invisible and provides for no air leakage.I have not tested waterproof worthiness so won’t comment on that aspect of the glove’s performance.
