Extensive kit for the money
Original ignition locked up at 215,000 miles on my 2006 Honda accord. Hotwired in someone’s front yard to get it home before ordering this. Extensive kit for the money. Had to swap the chip out of my old fab for the immobilizer to work properly. Haven’t gotten around to the door locks but the ignition is identical to factory. Feels well built and relatively easy to install once the old on is out. Break off bolts are a pain to get out. All necessary hardware included. Would buy again.

2007 Honda Accord done the easy way
This part is correct for a 2007 Honda Accord . There a 2 important steps that must be done to have a successful installation. The car has 3 wire harnesses and the part has only 2 places to plug them in so the black part that has a round hole that surrounds where the key goes in and has 3 plug receptacles that was used on the original Ignition must be used and replace the one that comes on your new ignition . It is held on with I believe 5 smalls screws and has one wire plug (remove by pushing a little nub on one side). Now you can plug in all 3 wire plugs. By switching this part you also have brought over the security system from your old car so no difficult key coding will be needed. The next important step is to take the ENTIRE insides out of your old key and put them in one of your new keys. You MUST put both the box that holds the battery and the transponder which is on the side of the inside of your old key.I f you forget to put your original transponder your new key will not work and need to be programed. This is a very important set if you like a simple job.Once you put ALL the parts that were in your old key into a new key your car will start and you can use it to program the spare key by turning on (without starting) the ignition 4 times with your key( that has the internals of your original key) each time you turn the key press the center lock button each time when the key is in the on position. You turn the key off after each time. The 4th time you do this you will hear the locks lock and you take your spare key and press the same lock button once. This should program your spare key. If it does not work there is a good video on You Tube called How to PROGRAM your KEY REMOTE for FREE. I hope this helps make what can be a difficult job easy and way cheaper than a shop.

NOT AT ALL WHAT IT SAYS IT IS
This is a warning, please read other reviews If you aren't sure, I'm like 80% sure this was why there key didn't work either. My Honda is a 2006 accord, and I needed a knew ignition switch, and figured honestly this was a good deal. So I bought it, and I FOUGHT IT for 3-4 days, non stop, missed work, bought a immobilizer bypass thinking that would help, it did not.Broke apart my old key to get the chip out and try that, also did not work.I had to call a locksmith to come out and pay an ADDITIONAL 120$ and he found out that the key it came with is only for 2008-2012 HONDAS.IT NEVER WAS GOING TO WORK WITH MY CAR, WITH THE IGNITION SWITCH THEY THEY SENT ME.I am so angry!I don't even know if it's going to work with the additional door locks because I'm not sure where the problem lies, if it's the key that was wrong or maybe they are too.DO NOT PURCHASE. or check closely if you do, the locksmith said on the key it even said on the top the years it was for.I'd return the stupid thing If I had known previously to getting the key cut and installing it.Zero stars, no NEGATIVE stars! It's not even what it says it is.

20 minute job at most.
Super easy to install.Save yourself hundreds of dollars and do it yourself. Waaaaay worth it. Keys feel solid and feel great turning the ignition on.A lot of the reviews I read said they had trouble with “programming key”.All you do is remove the immobilizer from your old ignition assembly (2 small screws) and swap to new one.Take the guts and chip from your old key fob and put them in the new supplied keys.Super easy.Hardest parts:Removing plastic covers and tamper proof bolts. You’ll need a hammer and chisel to take the tamper proof bolts off easily.Hope this helps future buyers.

Works!!
I have a honda accord 2006 hybrid and the switch works perfectly. Not hard to install just make sure to get a mechanic or lock smith to reprogram the keys.

Key will not program
Ignition and locks were fine. Keys would not program. Had to take chip out of old keys to program.
