Delphi SA10069 Home Adapter Kit for XM SKYFi Roady or Roady2

I had an old, but brand new Roady 2 XM Radio that I needed a home installation kit for one of my wifes Christmas presents. I could not find any in any store, but I checked out Amazon and WOW, there it was. I ordered it and received it in no time flat (I think a day ahead of time)very well packed and you know what? Inside, I found a little THANK YOU note from the supplier. I thought that was great customer service!!! It was in perfect NEW shape and works like a charm. The Remote Control is very handy and works well. I am very happy that Amazon came through for me and I would like to thank the supplier for the kind note. Great work Amazon and I would highly recommend this for anyone who might still have one of the old, but rugged Roady 2 XM Recievers. It has everything you need to adapt your XM Roady 2 to your home stereo. Nice long antenna lead adn very easy setup. Make sure you have a window or place outside that faces South for a good signal. The high gain antenna gave me a perfect signal.

Now I can listen to XM in the house with a antenna that has more gain. The remote makes it easier to navigate the menu

This adapter kit very simple to use regarding hook-up

Awesome toy now that it's got power. I would give 5 stars however when I opened the package I was disappointed to discover my AC adapter wouldnt plug securely into my Roady2. Perhaps I have an older version? After compairing it to my auto adapter, I found that the AC adapter had a yellow plastic tip about a millimeter or two extending from the plug that shouldnt normally get in the way. I shaved it off with a knife so that it can plug into my Roady2 and have power.The antenna works in my area as I'm surrounded by terrestrial transmitters, and plus my apartment is on the top floor. I just have the antenna sitting in the corner of my living room on a bookshelf.

We are obsessed with our satellite radio. We now have two and have bought them as gifts for people. We live in a town where there are only a few radio stations, so the XM is a life-saver. Prices have really come down, and the monthly fees are reasonable.

Menu controls degrade and become very difficult to use

Works fine. Just don't forget you need to have your antenna face south with a decent line of sight or it won't work. Depending on your house configuration, this may not be possible without wires running through the room.

It was every thing I needed. The cord for the antenna was amazingly long. Great for what I needed. I recommend
