Honestly, I think you know why I bought this mug- to appreciate the art ;) But, seriously (no pun intended), this is a nice little tea cup sized mug. The opening is narrow, but I think that keeps the drink hot a bit longer. Very to hold for, reasons, and it gives people a chuckle when they see me enjoying my beverage. This is on the small side, so if you know you have really big hands, maybe give this a pass? I use large size dish washing gloves and this cramps my hand up when I hold it as I showed, hence why I often hold the side opposite the handle. It can be a little tricky to wash as 1. the bottom of this mug isn't completely smooth, so sediments from your tea, coffee, cocoa or whatever can be a pain to clean out if left to dry (I used wine to illustrate the area I'm referring to), and 2. the inside of her cheeks might get missed when washing. I tend to use mine mainly for tea and I noticed one part started to darken like the bits you can't really reach in a teapot. Not a deal breaker in the slightest; this just needs a little more attention than standard mugs when washing.

The mug is cute and well made but it is extremely small. Not at all the size that seems to be pictured, if it was wanted as an actual mug to drink out of, it would be one gulp/shot. I bought it to gift to a friend, and I'm honestly a bit disappointed. Plus for twelve dollars I was expecting an average size mug.

Cute but to small!

I thought it was going to be bigger then it was it was the size of a shot glass I wanted a coffee mug but it's cute I just wish it was bigger felt like it was made out of good meaterl
