Lathem Calculating Atomic Time Clock, Includes Mounting Clip, Gray (7500E)

We have used finger print time clock for many years. After struggling to get new employees entered and no support because our clock was old, I went to the old time card system. I am loving the freedom from getting computers to work. We have had no problems with the cards like other remarks said - just use one whole side and then turn over. We do bi-weekly. Don't use 2 cards with the same file # at the same time - I learned this from reading other remarks. A new employee simply gets a new card - no more finger prints to read and/or passwords to set up because it can't read their fingerprint. At payroll time I just pull the cards and have totals No more getting computer reports to run before anyone clocks in on a new time-period and having a mess. I can label the cards way in advance and prepare for the next payperiod. I found a file box for the cards - so a new filing system but I am happy with the clock.

I hesitated for a long time before purchasing this time clock. It was easy to program and it works great. In fact, I bought a second one to put in a different building so the employee do not have to walk so far to punch in. Of course they must use the same clock each week, but it makes life easier. I spent at least 3 hours each week just adding the time cards. Now payroll takes 15 minutes even with a few people messing up their cards.

I love the Lathem Calculating Time Clock 7500E. Helps me so much with calculating the hours and isn't anything complicated. (or anything that requires software on the internet) I still write paychecks by hand and this has simplified my job by adding up the hours worked. Now if I can just get ALL of the employees to remember to clock in and out everything will be perfect!! I also ordered a separate battery pack for power outages to keep everything calculated and moving smoothly.

Great product works great. Just have to watch the time on the clock. It will switch back to its lrevious time from time change. Not a huge problem. Been using this in our business for the past 6 months. With it caculating time it has been a huge help to make payday quicker.

On the prowl for a calculating time clock with the ability to handle multiple clock-ins per day. Well, this one does it, but be aware that only 67% of the card can be used for showing times worked. The rest of it is just unnecessary (in our case) forms for job-pricing, etc. So my workers are having to use multiple cards for their two-week pay period.It's just a hassle, and we weren't prepared for it. May be returning it before the window closes.

The setup/programming system in this clock is HORRIBLE. Very confusing, instruction manual is terrible.I had a 7000 for years and it lost one line of the dot matrix printer, so I bought the 7500e. Only difference I can see is the atomic clock sync. Both program the same, terribly.The clock works fine once programmed. Best to call them and let them talk you thru it.It prints the day of the week OR the day of the month, but NOT BOTH!I have an old mechanical timeclock also that I use high volume and it has outlasted all others.

If you do payroll this clock is a time saver. The previous time clock required me to calculate minutes and all and it was a pain. Which I'm reminded of every time someone forgets to punch in or out. Other the forgotten punches you can only screw this up if you use time cards with the same numbers, which you really only have to worry about when you open a new pack. Just always start with the low numbers and then nothing will cross over.
