This cable does exactly what you want it to do. 100 ft is the perfect length when connecting stage-boxes, I’ve brought the LyxPro 100 Feet Shielded CAT6 Ethercon Cable to multiple retreats and events, and it has proven its worth time and time again. Despite heavy use and constant rerouting through various setups, the cable has held up incredibly well. Its robust construction handles frequent plugging, unplugging, and pulling without any issues, maintaining a reliable connection throughout. I have had some issues in the past where old cables would break overtime! Will update if anything changes!

I have bought other cables that are very stiff and hard to work with. Not the case with this cable. It seems just right. It looks like its made well, but still flexible. Anyone who coils cables for a living knows what I am talking about here. So far I would recommend this cable. If for some reason I have a failure I will update.

I purchased a 30' length of the LyxPro CAT6 cable to try out with my Behringer/Midas mixers and stage boxes. They specify using CAT5E, but I wanted to try this product because it was the most cost effective heavy duty cable that I could find. In testing, the stage boxes connected to the consoles just fine and the cable is pretty thick when compared to some other shielded Cat5e wire that I have tried. I can also confirm that the shells of the Ethercon connectors are connected to the shield on this cable. My cousin has since purchased a 250' length of this cable for his business. Hopefully it will prove to be durable for portable use cases.

Works as advertised!

I have several different brands of ethercon style cable, including the high end SoundTools cable(which is a durable workhorse as it should be for). However, I also purchased one of these Lyx Pro cables and I’m quite pleased with it. First of all, it passes phantom power which several other brands do not. This is very important to me. Secondly, it is flexible, which some other brands are not. This is also very important for me. I’m not a fan of the blue color, but it does help differentiate if from the other cables so it’s not a big deal. In short. I liked the 50’ I tested, and I just bought 3 more.

I used it to connect my Behringer X32 mixer to the Behringer digital snake, handling all instrument, mic, and speaker outputs seamlessly. It does the job, looks great and mine had no defects. I would take care to correctly wrap this cable, if you do so you should a decent long life from it.
