High Precision Polishing Sanding Wet/Dry Abrasive Sandpaper Sheets -Grit 3000 5000 7000 Germany

As advertised, on thin paper, kinda like thin wax paper. Excellent for knife edges, best 3000+ grit sandpaper I've found for the task, leaves a very mirrored edge.I use double sided carpet tape to adhere it to a flat surface, I just use pieces of wood that I know is flat. Yeah it creates a touch of a convex micro bevel, but if you plan on using a leather strop then you're going to put a convex micro bevel on anyway. Gets an edge sharp enough to make phone book paper feel like it's falling apart rather than being cut apart and to make arm hairs pop up in the air when cut gently.

The materiel the paper is made from is very durable and it worked well with water. I wanted to hand polish a small stone I have had for over 30 years that I found in Saudia Arabia and this sandpaper improved on what I had done by hand over many years. I am not finished but it is already a better shine than I had previously experienced. No complaints on the quality of the paper or its durability.

This sandpaper cleaned the hard water build up on my shower doors! I had tried every household cleaner on the market and nothing worked. My shower doors are not glass and for months I've lived with cloudy doors. A little elbow grease with 3000 wet dry sandpaper did the trick. Also got the scum off if the aluminum frame as well. Very pleased with this product and highly recommend.

I use this paper for very fine sanding when I turn wood on the lathe.

the paper is fine. I glue it down on a nice flat plate glass taking care to not have a fold or crease for as much precision as possible.I was very surprised to see that they ship them randomly folded in half.yes. folded in half shipped in an envelope plenty big enough to ship flat with a piece of cardboard. (no cardboard).

I use this to polish this inside of stainless steel pans and it works great, lasts long, is waterproof. !00% happy with it. If you keep pans polished, and heat some butter or bacon grease before adding eggs or whatever, it acts like a non-stick pan.

Mine arrived in one of those Amazon plastic protective pouches, and the sheets were full-sized and not folded. There was no stiffening cardboard, and still the sheets were in perfect order. Nice assortment, I'd buy again!

Do not recommend for car wet sanding/paint correction. Been using these paper 3k 5k and 7k for paint correction on my car. I am switching to 3m Trizac paper because these papers are inconsistent with grit and sometimes leave scratches that the higher paper or compound wont get out. So then I have to re-sand the area again and start over after all that work.
