Great value for money and easy to use
This is a wonderful product for a great price. It was easy to stick the magnets to the bottom of each pan. While the magnets were not super strong, they were strong enough to keep the filled pans on my tin. There were 50 magnets instead of 48, and 52 half-pans as well, so I appreciate the extra.

Using these for handmade watercolors!
I love these half pans for making homemade watercolors. I needed the product quickly and a decent amount for a good price. These were all that and more than I expected. There are a ton of them so it’ll last a while for a lot of projects. The size is accurate for a half pan. The plastic seems good quality and sturdy. They’re white in appearance. I’m super happy that it also comes with magnets to stabilize the half pans to a tin for traveling with your homemade paints or with filling the pans with tube paint. They are super lightweight.

Great Half-Pans, Terrible Magnet Adhesive
These half pans are just the right size and shape for my watercolor palette. I have added magnets to my other ones and thought the included magnets would make attaching them simpler mainly because they are pre measured to fit the pans. Other reviews mention that the adhesive was not long lasting, well in my case it was just completely non functional and even peeled right off some of the magnets. Since I knew this ahead of time I only docked the rating by one star because it was easy enough to use double sided tape to get the magnets to stick properly and that's what I'd done in the past. The half pans are great for small travel-sized palettes or colors you use less of in your bigger palettes, and they fit well into my metal cases (also purchased from Amazon). I think I'd like to get some full pans at some point in the future for colors I use a lot of. The plastic is sturdy and seems like the pans will last a long time, I like that they are white too, I will be able to use a sharpie to write the pigment and other paint information on the sides as an extra reminder when the paint runs out or if I decide to change up the order of my paints.I do recommend these as it seems hard to screw up the half pans themselves, but with the caveat that you should expect to need double sided tape or super glue to actually get the magnets to stick.

Reinforce adhesive on magnets with glue
I bought these to add extra pans to existing palettes, and they work great. You just peel the backing off the magnet, stick it to the bottom of the pan, and put it in your metal palette. Magnets are strong enough to hold the filled half pans in place. You get 50 magnets, and 48 pans, so I have plenty left over after filling empty spaces in two palettes. Great value for the price.Edit one week later: the sticky part of the magnets holds for about 5 days before it falls off the back of the pan. Will have to use glue. Not really a deal breaker, but it is an extra step people buying these will probably have to take.

Just buy it. It's the best set.
These are absolutely perfect. I decided to get back into painting after a decade plus break. I was convinced my paints would be useless so I looked for a premade pallet and tried one but it was a dud. I thought for $6.99 I could try to use my old tubes instead of waisting a decent amount to try another pallet. I am shocked by the quality of these. I used my old prismacolor colored pencil tin (the 24 pack) and it fit all 50 perfectly with room for a couple brushes. Yes, I did say 50. Not 48. In fact this set came with 53 pans and 50 magnets. I was also shocked that all but 4 colors are good after all this time. This set saved me a good chunk of money and my time and patience by not having to try another pallet. If I had to pick a con, it would be the fact that I now have to wait days for them to dry before I paint, which would be a problem with any pan on the market. I actually prefer the magnets on these than the sets that comes with pans that fit in a line. I like to be able to move them around easily. I don't have to pop them out of a specific spot. And I can also put a couple in an Altoids tin on the go.PS, a little trick my teacher friend taught me, if you need to erase sharpie in the future, go over it with a dry erase marker. Comes right off of you need to relabel.

Pans are decent, magnet adhesive is useless
I bought these to build a few watercolor travel palettes out of altoid tins for gifts The pans are decent, not quite as thick or well-finished as those I have purchased from Jackson's and Blick, but way less expensive. And I suppose that the thinner pans means they might store a bit more paint. QC seems decent enough, all the exact same size and fit into standard half pan palette slots just fine. They also don't seem to stain badly, which is nice for cleaning and reusing pans. However, the primary reason I bought these was the inclusion of adhesive magnets. The magnets are okay, not nearly as strong as some tiny neodymium magnets I have bought in the past for the same purpose, but that is too be expected. However, the magnet adhesive is nearly useless. I ended up using super glue to attach the magnets to the pans.I would recommend these for the pans, but if you want the use of the magnets you should either plan on gluing them yourself or look elsewhere.

Glad I bought these half pans
The media could not be loaded. I bought these to replace the plastic wells the came with my Pretty Excellent watercolors. I didn't care for it which was a downer since I couldn't fit my brushes in the metal tin. Enter these beauties. It took some wiggling to remove the paint from the plastic wells (each of the paints is glued down) but once removed the fit into the half pans. Full disclosure -- I did have to push my paint into the half pans so don't expect them to just slide in. But they do fit perfectly and the magnetics (reason I bought these) were easy to apply. The magnets stuck to the half pans and to the tin with no problem. I wonder how well I they stick once wet but I'll come back to update it they stop sticking. Anyway, it also can with 52 half pans and 50 magnets which was a nice touch. All in all great deal for the price and the extras. Now I can rearrange my half pans and add extra paintbrushes to the tin. I can also add extra half pans though I don't need it... not yet. Get these half pans and happy painting. 🎨

Just what I expected
The media could not be loaded. Packaged in plastic bags, half pans are exactly as pictured and the magnets are good quality, easy to peel and stick.
