Heavy duty easy to use.
So I had been buying the tent pegs that had the plastic top, now while the metal spike held up really well that stupid plastic part always broke. Welcome to a real tent stake. These are all metal, they have a nice cleat on the top for wrapping your tent line around and a solid head so you can pull it out of the ground with a claw hammer. I bought one box of these to try them out. I liked them so much I have since tossed all the other ones I had and replaced them with these and it is so much better. They are nice and long so they get a lot of contact with the ground and stay where you put them, they held my tent down in 35mph winds with no problems.

Best tent stakes I've used
Heavy, they don't bend. Nice orange color so you don't lose them in the grass.

The hulk of tent stakes.
Overkill for what I needed but some heavy duty stakes they are.

Now THAT'S a tent stake
Bought these on a whim...mostly because I'm a sucker for camping gear, especially when it's not that expensive. But we were heading out on a trip to Guadalupe Mountains National Park in far West Texas, and the area is known for high winds, so I thought an $18 impulse buy could very easily be disguised as peace of mind. Boy were we glad we bought these. To the guy who said that these aren't tent stakes...I'm assuming he's never spent a windy night in a national park in west Texas...The winds steadily increased as the week went on, until one evening my wife and I are pretending to sleep with sustained winds of 40-45mph and gusts up to 55mph. This was our first windy night in our tent with our kiddos, so my nervous-nelly self was checking the straps and guy lines every few hours, just to make sure our Big Agnes Flying Diamond 8 wasn't going to roll over on us during the night.Overall we had 30-45mph sustained for about 20 hours and these stakes never budged...the slack on the guy lines never loosened, and I worried (like a father should) for nothing. These things were solid from the time I banged them into the ground, and they're sturdy enough to not bend when striking them like a normal tent stake. Best $20 I've spent in all my camping gear purchases!

Good, but very heavy
These are great stakes for car camping or fixed location - definitely not a good solution for hikers - they work wonderfully and…. Solid steel.

Not. Just for tents....
I ordered these for a different purpose than tacking down a tent. I ordered these for tacking down the bottom edge of a privacy screen. They fit right through the gromit holes and are perfect for the job. Fastest shipping next day delivery. Perfect

Heavy duty Stakes
High quality, heavy duty steaks. I have not used them yet. But I have no doubt they will work great and last a long time. I would not use for backpack camping. But any normal camping practices they will work great
