I’ve tried so many facial cleansers but always find that they strip my skin - I have oily combination skin so finding the right cleanser that cleans my skin but is also gentle, has been difficult.The Cerave cleanser is a clear liquid cleanser, I need about 1.5 to 2 pumps from the larger 1L to produce a thick enough lather - it works nicely over my skin, when I am working it into my face it produces nice refreshing lather.I’ve ditched my beard shampoo and I am currently using this to clean my beard whilst I am cleaning my face. I have noticed that my beard doesn’t feel as dry as it used to and the skin under my beard feels a lot better. It doesn’t leave facial hair coated in anyway at all nor does my beard feel stripped.Whilst there is no scent, there is a slight smell to it which is very neutral.When rinsed, my skin feels refreshed and clean - my skin looks brighter and my skin feels soft. This is ideal for sensitive skin, it does not irritate the dry areas on my cheeks.Overtime, I’ve noticed my skin looks better - the appearance of my skin is noticeable, I get less blackheads/spots and my pores are visibly reduced.I absolutely love this cleanser, I highly recommend it!

I am not a dermatologist so can't base any of my review on science or anything like that. My review is based on my past experience with skincare, products I have used in the past and how my face feels since using this foam cleanser.Me:I have oily skin and have always battled with blackheads on my nose and get isolated blind pimples and whiteheads.After trying what feels like 100's of different face washes starting from a teenager using Clearasil (like most teens?) I went through loads of different products and regimes and never found my skin to balance out, always becoming really oily in the afternoon and still often getting breakouts (I realised diary was a trigger so have also cut this out of my diet - it is important to know diet also effects your skins health)Even the expensive Kiehl's products just weren't working long term.I started using benzol peroxide and found my skin did improve but found it dried my skin out completely even with thick moisturisers so I kept looking.Using face washes with Salicylic Acid definitely helped but the results always seemed short term.CeraVe:I came across this brand due to there being a sale at my local pharmacy. I thought it was worth a try as the product appeared high end but at an affordable price (compared to Kiehl's and ClarinsMen)First wash and I was incredibly impressed. My skin no longer felt oily but it didn't feel dry! I decided to purchase CeraVe Moisturising Lotion to complete my routine and have been very happy.My facial skin feels softer, plumper and overall just better condition and doesn't ever feel dirty oily (if that makes sense)I have had hardly any pimples in the past year and a half using these products and would highly recommend this brand

I have combination skin (oily t-zone and normal everywhere else) but my skin is highly acne prone. This is the best and only face wash that works for me. It’s just better than anything else Iv ever tried. Doesn’t leave my face feeling too dry or still oily. Every other face wash I have ever tried either doesn’t work and makes me break out or works for a short period of time then stops working for me. I have been using this face wash now for almost a year. I waited a long time before leaving a review to it can be an honest and reliable review. Don’t think I will ever switch from Cerave. There’s nothing like it!

This is really good value for money when you buy the large one, it’s lasted my daughter almost 6 months
