Cheap plastic, all 4 arrived broken beyond use.
I would give it zero stars if I could. Each of the file boxes arrived damaged, cracked and broken to the point that they could not be used. They are made of very cheap, thin plastic and I don't see how they would hold up to heavy files. Returned for a refund because there's no way I could use this item even if it were not completely broken upon arrival.

Glad I purchased these.
Was a good price for 4 and I easily found ways to make use of them all. They are slightly more flimsy than the other reviews led me to believe. I don't think that they are weak and with care I don't expect them to break for years, although some will go in and out of my car several days a week. As far as finding something more solid and still highly portable, for in car use, I can't find them and I'm not sure they are being made. If they are, I think that it would be priced beyond my comfort zone. I'm happy. I would buy this again in a minute.

Cracks easily
The quality is very poor. I ordered 3 sets of these and several of them arrived with gaping cracks on the edges and unusable. Forgot to return them on time and now I have them sitting in the garage waiting to be trashed. Wasted money.

Sturdy way to organize your file
If you’re tired of pendaflex file folders falling down or the metal hooks on the sides getting “sucked” into the channel on top of the file folder OR if you want to ditch the pendaflex and just use use regular folders, would highly recommend these! They are sturdy, neat, allow organizing like files in the same box.

Does the job
I keep files in here because I don't have a file cabinet since they're not really very stylish. These fit perfectly in my modular desk cabinet from West Elm. I added labels so I can easily locate documents I need. I used two of them and have two left for future use.

Partially defective order
One of the 4 file boxes is split on one side, but I do not want to return the entire order because I need them right now. Can't i get a refund for 1/4 of the order?

Good organizing tool for library
I used these to help organize our church library. We put teachers manuals and class books in them. With a label maker, we have them clearly labeled and on top of some shelves, where they look attractive and neat.

These were as described. The only drawback was the "lips" on the edges made it so they would't fit where I needed them
