First of all, having a fabric-wrapped wireless charger is awesome in and of itself. The fabric doesn't just look nice; it helps keep the phone from slipping, something that the Samsung "flying saucer" charger woefully fails to do. The viewing angle is perfect as well; I sometimes use my phone with a portable keyboard, and being able to charge while doing work on it is cheap at twice the price. The charger is solidly constructed overall, and the footprint is far smaller than Samsung's.The only limitation, and it's not really the charger's fault, is that the thickest cases will not charge through it, because the fabric does add a small amount of additional distance from the charging coils. The coils are very robust and can make up for part of this gap, but super-heavy cases such as the Otterbox Defender will have problems. My case, the Spiegen Tough Armor, is pretty thick and robust and the iOttie has no problem whatsoever charging it wirelessly.As with most wireless chargers, putting metal in the case for magnetic mounting will disrupt and block wireless charging. To do that you'd need one of iOttie's other products, the iTap 2 Wireless; that incorporates the magnet and plate *below* the charging coils.I can't recommend this charger enough. It's one of the more expensive ones on the market, but worth every penny - you get what you pay for. Five stars!

I really like iOtties customer service. My charger stopped working about 4 months in but the warranty period was still active. IOttie replaced my charger at no cost to me and the new one is working great. Every brand will have a lemon once in awhile, but it’s how the company treats you when that happens. This charger is more expensive than some others but it’s also more attractive in its design and the company obviously stands by it’s product so I’ll be looking at iOttie in the future.Now for this specifics of what I really like about this charger. I have an iPhone 8+, so it’s a bigger phone. What I’ve noticed with lay flat Qi chargers, it’s harder or shall I say more finicky to get the phone in the best place to charge. With this iOttie cradle, when you set it down and center it with your fingers, it’s automatically in the proper charging position. The whole point of wireless charging is the convenience of not having to fuss with it as much and I think this cradle makes that easier. I also like that my phone sits up. When I get a call or need to look at the time in bed, it’s already easy to view when I push the wake button.The gray fabric is attractive compared to any others that I have come across. It blends in well with modern smart speakers that are out now.

I ordered this because it was a little more decorative and stylish on the nightstand. It is a higher quality product than the typical cheap ones available. It looks great, is heavy enough to avoid easily falling over or off the table, and works. No special instructions- just plug in and start using. I have a Pixel 7 with a case and there are no issues with contact or charging so far. As a bonus, the LED light is grey and low in intensity not like others which are excessively bright.

This charger is stylish, effective, and charges my Pixel 7 without any disruption. The fit is great and it seems the base is solid and well-built. This charger is touted as fast, but it isnt. Rather, it's on par with the speed of your average wireless charging device. Works very well as a bedside charger.

This charger is amazing! My husband uses it when he works and I use it when I cook and need my recipes on my phone to be displayed. Definitely a solid find. I’ve had mine for 3 years and it still works great!

+For starters, this is definitely the nicest looking wireless charger as the fabric gives it a rather luxury look that easily fits into many decors/environments.+Chargers fast enough! Outputs within the 9W fast wireless charging spec; exactly what it says on the box. Checked w/ USB multimeter.+Seems less picky w/ phone placement to initiate good charging. Gives some leeway when phone is horizontal as long as it is centered-ish. Vertical alignment is easy enough.+Rubber feet do a good job from preventing this thing charger from sliding around. Makes using the phone while its on the stand practical. Same can't be said for all over vertical charging stands.+Works w/ my thicc S8 ToughArmor case!+!!!USB-C!!! Works w/ both A to C fast charging and USB-C PD C to C power bricks! There's only a handful of type-C wireless chargers out there (I'm aware of 2 vertical stand ones as of this writing, including the iOttie) so as someone who has a 'buy no new electronics with Micro USB' policy, this charger is just what the doctor ordered. The type C takeover is happening slowly but surely!+LED isn't obnoxiously bright. I have a first gen Samsung 'flying saucer' charger and its LED is a bit on the bright side. My phone shows charger percentage and green LED lights up when battery is full anyway.+Higher stand angle than many other chargers that leads to improved phone usability and video chat camera angle when phone is on stand.-Pricey-ish but not really considering you get a premium feeling/functioning fast charger, cable, and nice 18W USB wall adapter. Samsung literally wants double this price for their chargers.Overall, this is THE wireless charger at the moment. I own 2 others that I can briefly compare to. The iOttie is obviously more functional than the aforementioned 'flying saucer' for fairly obvious reasons; not much to say. The second charger I have is the, as far as I'm aware, only other USB-C wireless charging stand is the Trusda charger. That one has no rubber feet so it slides around all over the place, horizontal pad has rather picky phone positioning, causes the "wireless charging paused" issue in fast charge mode (look it up), it doesn't come with a nice wall adapter, and doesn't take USB-C PD input (only A to C) for some reason. Long story short, spend a bit more on this charger and you won't regret it. Fantastic device for my work table!Also, people don't be boring and stop buying the grey one. The other colors are very nice too! Don't be the reason all electronics and their accessories are all black.

Priced maybe a bit higher than it needs to be, but an excellent charger. Looks very nice, works great. LED indicator isn't too bright (I DESPISE bright LEDs on things!). Keeps my iPhone 8 juiced up. Highly recommended.

Wanted a nice looking charging stand that would still allow me to look at my phone, most were just a black plastic like color but this one looks far nicer. Charging works great but i just wish it was a little heavier, tapping the screen while its in the stand causes it to tip a little.

I have a blacked-out design for my desk and it fits perfectly. It does have a light-grey color to it but the contrast to the design works well. The power output is not that strong, charging is not that fast but it should work for overnight charging or desk charging when working. When playing music during charging, the sound is muffled by the base but if you rotate the phone it should sound as normal. Works with iPhone 12 Pro max size too
