No frills, but functional
I'm going to go ahead and give 5 stars, because I don't honestly think you can expect, want or need more. It's simple to use, non fussy, and so far it hasn't broken (in one week), which is more than you can say for most of the tat you find on Amazon. I measured the voltage with a voltmeter, and it was producing 20V at 2mA. Some potential improvements could be a smaller device, it feels light and plastic like, so presumably there is room for improvement there. Also a rechargeable battery would be good, but you can get around this by just buying a 9v rechargeable battery from Amazon. Maybe a carry case would be nice too. However, let's be honest, we are depressed so do we honestly care about any of this little stuff, if it helps with depression or whatever, then who cares about what it looks like, we have bigger issues to care about. Also it's a lot cheaper than the £400 one I see being advertised everywhere, which is just over-engineered, and also doesn't allow you to choose where to place the electrodes, which is half the point of these things, to try different arrangements and see what works best.

It Works
I love this wee thing, amazed that after trying so many other things and medication that some electricity works wonders. It allows me to smile and sometimes even laugh. Brain fog and pressure are diminishing, bad thoughts and dreams are also diminishing. Only two weeks in and so much benefit gained. Sorry that I didn’t know about it sooner.

Still experimenting but so far so good.
Reducing my medication and throught this would help. Can't really feel that much when Its on just a prickly sensation. I have it on 1.5mA for 20mins the 2 mA gives me a headache sometimes. Been using it for 3 weeks every day but have adjusted position of one of the pads on my head in the last week which makes the difference. Think it's definitely helped feel more relaxed less negative thoughts (last time I reduced meds they came back so had to go back up in dosage) I still have problems but seems they don't bother me so much and can easily distact myself and feel the effects of this might be cumrative as I go on. Hard to give an exact answer as been on meds for a long time but feel as if it's definitely helping.

Positive results?
I've given a conservative rating since I've only been using this device for 3 weeks. I bought this machine to see if it would help my son with his anxiety/ocd. But before this machine gets anywhere near my son I've decided to test it for safety. As far as safety is concerned I've suffered no ill affects. The only vaguely negative thing I've experienced is a slight stinging/burning on the skin via the sponges. For myself I've used the machine to try to boost my memory. Although it's very difficult to come to an objective conclusion I believe I "might" have had some success so far. For example I've managed to memorise pi to 30 decimal places in no time at all (literally in minutes). I can recite the alphabet backwards with ease. I can also remember the 16 digit long number on my bank card and remember my car registration. For a 3 week period I've been using it for 5 days a week for 30 minutes a day and @ 2.0 mA. I intend now to use it 3 days a week for 7 weeks for 30 minutes a day and @ 2.0 mA. This mirrors a clinical test that I read about. If I complete my testing successfully I will suggest to my son that he tries it for his anxiety/ocd.
