Great alternative to soil
Cocopeat is a great alternative to soil to grow plants in small spaces. I use it for my kitchen garden, mixing it with Vermicompost to make potting mix. Trust basket's cocopeat is just as good as any I've used. I'm not sure if it expands to 75 litres but does expand to a substantial volume, I filled 10 medium sized pots with it. It's fun to see it expand after adding water. Once expanded its fine in consistency and light in weight, provided good aeration to roots allowing the roots to expand easily. It's important to remember that cocopeat on its own is a relatively inert growing medium and doesn't provide many nutrients to the plants, for this reason one must always add nutrients in the form of Vermicompost to prepare potting mix.Cons: Shipping cost can be lower, doesn't make much sense to pay more than half the amount of the product only for shipping.

Good quality product for garden lovers...
Cocopeat's quality is good and it absorb lots of water. I have not used even half of the 5kg and still managed to fill 10-12 large size pots along with mud. Only problem is the packaging which is not good and it was broken from corner with small portion lost during delivery. I soaked it in water for 2-3 hours and it was ready for use.

Good mixture for Terrace Garden/ kitchen garden
Delivery was as promised-in a short span. However, the packaging was already torn from the sides and a lot of material was lost either in transit or while packing.Could not complain to the helpdesk as lately they have all scripted responses which lead no where.Opened and prepared the block as suggested on the instructions, added manure to the mix and readied the pots. Have used seeds from earlier crop like ginger, garlic, pudina, flowering plants, tulsi etc., purchased a couple of plan seeds from other vendors and planted these too.Positives:1. reduces overall pot weight due to reduction in soil weight2. easier mixing & rolling of soil in pot3. water retention is better than with soil only- so i am using lesser water here4. I observed that the roots are growing much faster and the average growth is also faster.Negatives/ Unknown:1. Not sure how frequently i will need to add more peat to the pot when the old soil washes away2. same for the manure- i am nit sure if the manure addition frequency remains same or increases due to porosity of the pot mix3. though the plants are growing well and water retention capability is good, on hot days, when evaporation is faster, will soil+peat mix lose water faster? leading to more frequent wateringdefinitely a good buy and value for money as i find the average pot life extended and plants staying hydrated for longer time.
