Seismic Audio - Pair of Jack Plates with Dual Speakon and Dual 1/4" PA/DJ Speaker Cabinet

These plates are a must have for anyone whos in the DJ business they are very flexable with speakon or quater inch inputs. very nicely constructed and has space to glue on a custom crossover. Not the best for subs as the quater inch holes leak air through the plate. Not a big deal but for the average user but for an audiophile this a problem. high quality connectors in both instance. The only drawback is they should soldier wires on and add a few extra bucks to the price but it will save alot of time if this was done already.

If I had a complaint, it would be that a thin cardboard stencil would make cutting out the opening in my cabinet much easier. That said, it’s all solid and well made. I cannot wait to hook it up.

Strong steel plate. Nice 1/4 TSR jacks, and Speakon style jacks. Easy to wire for an advanced builder.

I easily enlarged the opening with a sabre saw, Soldered the jacks up in parallel, and installed them in my JBL powered mains. Work great. REMEMBER to adjust the tip connector on the 1/4 inch jack before installing.

I built a bass guitar speaker cabinet and these are easy to wire up, and super easy to install.With dual speakon connections, they're ready for modern amps and the dual 1/4" jacks have you covered for older style equipment,The way I wired mine (in parallel), I can plug the amp into a speakon jack, the run a cable to another speaker using the other seakon jack or a 1/4".I think I'll upgrade my P.A. speakers, too

Firstly, the jack plates arrived on time as promised which is great, however the packaging was terrible. the 2 plates were literally placed in a "zip lock" bag and put in an envelope with a thin bubble wrap lining. all the metal arms on the 1/4" jacks were bent flat against the jack and when I gently bent them back out, they all broke. some of the Speakon connections are bent too but not so bad. Luckily I am rebuilding a guitar and needed an output jack so I just ordered a 6 pack of Swichcraft #11's and will be replacing the SA crap that came on the plate. The plate it's self appears to be good quality and was easy to mount. If you can find a blank plate at cheaper price, you'd be better off getting that and drilling your own holes and adding your own better quality jacks, but for the price, these are decent plates with pre-drilled holes.

Big, heavy-duty steel plates. A great replacement for any failing, flimsy plastic jack plate. You'll probably have to expand the opening to fit these as they are twice the length of a typical jack plate.
