1st review of theconnect cd.19 reviews posted for this product only 1 of them was applicable to theconnect cd which was returned untested due to arriving damaged.My unit arrived packed in only its retail box that was a bit tatty. This box had been resealed with a piece of sellotape.After unit was set up for use {very easy} I was quite impressed with the looks and build quality. Sound quality out of the box is very good and can be altered in sub menus to your own preference.There is plentiful connections for most needsBluetooth works very well but there is no signal out to your expessive headphones. I did not try but it maybepossible to use a dongle.Radio reception is excellent on DAB and FM with very good signal strength even considering Ilive in an area with poor reception.CD Player My main reason for this purchase. I use a lot of audio books, to my disappointment the cd refused to work. Next book played disc 1 and 2 just fine with excellent sound quality. Played 3rd book to disc 5 and it again said "no disc" I then retried book 2 and disc 2 refused to play even after already played, i tricd multiple times with varying results disks that played ok refused to play and vice a versa.I tried music disks and all played very well. It seems not to like audio CD'S. Memory sticks play very well with CD like quality,Screen is just ok It could be a lot brighter with larger fonts. plain black and white would be far hetter,Remote control was supplied with 2 batteries with a piece of tatty tape to hold them together. placed inside the remote bag. Although fairly small it does the job .I think that the undock app works with this unit.Tbere was the occasional crackle from the left hand speaker.Despite the minor niggles I would be happy to recommend .

I am giving product a top review although we had an issue and had to return for a minor fault. The player was as described and a good quality product but sadly had to be returned. I also want to highly praise the seller too as return was free and easy to send back the player cleared immediately on receipt of return fully refunded immediately with refund of Insurance included too. On top of this we received great customer service through email apologising for the fault and immediately offering help. As if that wasn't enough superb customer service today I was waiting for a new play to be delivered the doorbell rang just before and a postman handed my partner a padded envelope confused I opened and too our amazement my partner had left one of his cd's in the player and this had been safely returned to us. Our thanks go out to the lovely team for your support and for thefantastic customer service and also for your honesty and thoughtfulness in returning our cd. I highly recommend purchasing from this seller and highly rate the player.

The device itself looks very good. Audio sound is good. However, I could not connect to WiFi unless I was within six feet of my router which was not practical for me. DAB radio connection was very poor even when aerial was fully raised (other devices in house use DAB no problem). Could not adjust sound using remote, not ideal having to walk to the device to adjust sound every time. Whilst using remote the menu screen locked several times, I had to power off/on to get functionality back. Have returned device to seller and awaiting refund.

In my view this is the best of many similar specification equipments by competing manufacturers. ( Excellent build quality and sound quality ). There is only one annoyance , which concerns the supplied remote control - that regretably has a high continuous battery drain ~ such that the 2 AAA batteries only last 3 or 4 days maximum before needing replacement :-( Therefore I use two pairs of rechargable AAA cells ~ rather than hundreds of single use AAA cells ! It is also possible to use controls on the AUNA Connect CD box itself ~ or an effective app on a smartfone or iPod / iPad to control all functions ... so it is possible to dispense with the ( faulty ? ) supplied hand remote control if that becomes too frustrating.

Easy to use how ever if you want album stored on a Nas to play back in track order you may need to do some work.

I really like it . Simple display. Nothing fussy. Just a cool compact bit of kit . Use in the bedroom , so the low light clock is a bonus . Even looks good.

Not only does this product look the part, it sounds the part too. Bought this product to replace my Sony mini system and very impressed, nice piece of kit.

Well made German product, easily to setup and good quality sound and visually pleasing.
