Truly the Best Insoles for Foot Pain
I have been wearing Superfeet Green insoles now for nearly a decade. I have tried other brands, and even other models of Superfeet insoles (blue, berry, copper, and orange), but none of them have worked as well. At least in my experience, the build and quality of these insoles have remained the same every time I have replaced them.I tried these for the first time about 10 years ago when I developed a serious case of plantar fasciitis. It was bad. My job at the time required a lot of walking and my feet just couldn't handle it. Someone recommended that I try Superfeet, and at first I had no idea which of the insoles they make would be best for me. I have very low arches that are borderline flat, so naturally I first tried insoles for my actual foot type. They were ok but didn't really make a difference with my pain. So I decided to try the Green even though it was advertised for high arches. THAT is when I discovered my soul mate was a shoe insole.Everyone is different but let me tell you what to more or less expect if you've never used these before. These are not your typical cushiony, pillowy insoles that make you feel like you're walking on air. These are solid, and the foam is very dense and firm. I can see why this may put some people off; after all, at first feel they seem like they'll only make foot pain WORSE, not better. And truth be told, they DO hurt if you're not used to them. Seems counterintuitive, right? It's important to be aware that this initial discomfort is NORMAL and very common amongst first time users. In the beginning you may feel frustrated for having spent this much on insoles that seem to make the pain worse. But trust me, you NEED to give them time to break in. Your feet are likely not accustomed to this level of support, and yet that's exactly what those feet need. Especially if you have flat feet or low arches. These insoles force your feet into a more arched position which at first feels completely unnatural. But flat and low arches can bring on issues like knee and hip pain from taking on more weight that is more evenly distributed by those with normal arches. So yes, they are uncomfortable at first. You need to ease into them at your own pace. Wear them for an hour a day, then two hours, and so forth, and eventually the pain will not only go away, but you'll be amazed at what a huge difference they make. I use them in my everyday walking shoes as well as my running and trail shoes. No matter what the activity is, these insoles allow me to do it pain free. There are a few things to be aware of though that can't really be changed. Because they are so firm and don't really have any "give" when weight is applied, it COULD potentially change the way your shoe fits. These fit nicely into my medium width shoes as well as my wide fit shoes, but the fit is snug. It also will raise your heel somewhat. I've never found them to raise it so high that the shoe is unwearable though, and my feet still feel secure in the shoe. In fact, this slight heel raise has actually helped me wear shoes I couldn't before because of heel rubbing. These lift my heels just enough so that I no longer have that issue. The one thing I don't like is that these insoles can potentially change the performance of the shoe. For example, I have a great pair of running shoes that have a "springy" heel which feels really great when I do speed runs. But the springy-ness is noticeably dulled when using these insoles. Superfeet make a different insole that is specifically designed for runners, but nothing has been as good as the Green for pain relief and support. And ultimately that's more important to me.Hopefully this information helps you in your insole search quest. Remember, have patience, break them in and don't give up on them the first day. Your aching feet will thank you later and you'll wonder how you survived all this time without them.

Expensive but worth the money
I've purchased two of these for both of my boots! They are great and highly recommend them. They do provide some pain relief after a long hikes in shoes that don't have these. They are comfy to wear as well in the shoes and they are super easy to Put in. I know they are a little bit pricey but I would highly recommend it if you need some new shoe inserts!

Green is great for low or high arches. Great support and durability
I am a Physical Therapist and have used this product for over the past decade. I really love the support, wearability and the green superset is great for high arches or low arches as the heel cup is deep to keep the heel bone (calcaneus bone) in correct position to support a better gait pattern. I have low arches/flat feet and works great for me and my husband has high arches and it works great for him as well.

Good for Most
I’m sure these are great for most feet. However, I have wide feet with a high arch and narrow heel. I need something more substantial and stability.

Pain Relief and Healing Aid
My doctor recommended using pads to relieve metatarsal pain, and they were awful. I have one pair of goofy looking sneakers that help, but I need boots for work and my motorcycles.Bought the green high-arc to try in my worst boots. They are very solid and high quality compared to others I considered. I pulled the existing insole out, set these in position and put the old, paper thin insole on top. Easy. The fit on the boots went from comfortable to perfect, with unnoticeable height difference. The support difference, however, was quite striking. With the arcs carrying proper weight, there was immediate relief just standing in the boots. I can go all day in them without the crippling discomfort. It’s early yet (a few weeks with these), but they look like they will last for some time. I feel I’m not only preventing more damage, but maybe giving myself a chance to heal a bit. I will definitely purchase these for my other boots.

Highly recommend for long-lasting support!
I have flat feet/fallen arches which can cause significant pain on runs or long walks and I swear by these. I probably got my first pair about 6+ years ago. Because the molded arch section is solid plastic, they never collapse! I absolutely recommend these to anyone who's had issues with insoles or OTC orthotics losing their shape. I've got unusually small feet, so the smallest size still needs to be trimmed, but that's easy to do. They do take up a decent amount of space in your shoe and they are not really cushioned, but support is my priority, and these are perfection for me.

Great insert with a major issue (for some)
I wanted to try out a different brand for the shoe inserts than what I’ve been using for many years. This product definitely provides a great arch support and is comfortable to be in for prolonged period of time. You can trim it however you want to fit to the shoes you wear.My only and the biggest complaint is that the bottom of the insert is slippery and tiny rubber pads it has does not keep the insert in place. It might not be an issue if you are putting it into sneakers, boots, or any fully closed shoes, but I needed it for my slip-on clogs. I never had this issue with other brands but with this, it slid around everywhere and would fall off the shoes when you walk around in it. I found myself constantly pausing and fixing my insert. It was way too annoying, after some months of occasional usages, I had to discard it as I just couldn’t use it.
