Petz Route Long Stick Play with a Kitten Made in Japan

This toy is a cheap eight dollar toy. I have owned it for a week now and it is pretty beat up but still intact. Toys like this are meant to be replaced. With that said, it is a great value. My cats love this toy! The plastic wings make a fluttering sound when I fly it through they air that really peaks my cats' interest. They come running when they hear it. They love to hunt it and once they catch it they carry it in their mouth and bring it over to my husband like it was prey. It is a really simple toy. Once it it torn I can easily make a replacement dragonfly from materials I find at the craft store. I even left it on the floor and my cats played with it by herself for 30 minutes. It is lightweight so it flips and slides across the floor.

I've purchased the Petz Route Long Stick Play toy for the third time now, and it's been a consistent hit with my cat. Every time I start playing with it, my cat comes running, no matter where she is in the house. What really stands out is how it captivates her attention with its spinning film wings and the unpredictable movements from the flexible steel wire.Even my older cats, who aren't usually as active, get really excited and playful with it. I highly recommend this toy if you're looking for something to keep your cat entertained and active. It's a joy to watch them play with it!

I bought this after watching several Youtube cat videos, almost as a splurge for my at because he can't seem to be interested in a toy for more than a month. I was expecting him to lose interesting but he ended up destroying his very first one out of all the excitement. He actually loved it so much that after I threw out the demolished wand and was waiting for a new one to arrive, he got it out of the trash can and brought it back to my room, begging me to play with him. With my kitty, it is a hit. In terms of how sturdy and well made this thing is, that is up for debate. The wings are flimsy and not as sturdy or long lasting as other cat toys, but I think that is part of the reason why this toy is attractive to kitties. Maybe because it is so flimsy with its translucent wings, it imitates what a real dragon fly or bugs look like to them. Who knows, but one thing I do know is that out of 15+ toys my cat has, this is the one he always bring up to me without a fail.

My cat is old and bored of normal play, but toys like this still manage to get him excited and jumping all over the place. The movement of the wings on the dragonflies is very fast and light, making it look like an actual bug. It also makes a sound when you move it quickly that interests my cat. The only issue is the price. The toy is not sturdy compared to the price and cat easily be broken by an aggressive cat. Everything is held together with glue. However, I know this isn't an issue with the product so much as the inflated price from importing. Also, the lightness that makes the toy not sturdy is what makes it so fun for my cat.

Recently my cats gotten a bit lethargic and comfortable being sedentary because of her asthma, but we know it's important to get her moderated play sessions in to keep her healthy! It's been really hard to get her to play with all of her usual toys, and as of late the only thing that would get her interested was.... butcher's twine. Wierdo.In comes this thing. First thing out of the package and she's already following it around, curious but not crazy. We put it away (Always put your wire and string toys away when not in use!) and she claws at the cabinet its in because she wants it back out! Next play session, she's ballistic for it. She chases, does flips she hasn't done since she was younger, and yanks it out of our hands and growls at us and runs away with it because its HER toy now, not ours, not her brothers. Hers!When we can get it away from her she's right back on the chase! She loves this thing so far and as of having it for a few days its been holding up to intense growly tug of war sessions with no visible signs of real damage. The minute she finally manages to break it I'm definitely purchasing another one.

The media could not be loaded. My cat was getting tired of her old toys, so my wife and I bought this one in the hopes that she would like it. We were right! She absolutely loves it.

My mom's cat LOVES this toy!!! He is almost obsessed with it, once he sees us take it out on the dresser, it's game on!! But the metal part does get bendy easily.
