Music worked for only 5 times
But the 5 times it DID work , our 2-yr-old grandson LOVED it! He was so giggly when the little “weasel” popped up. The handle is very flimsy (which I could tell by looking) but I expected it to last longer than 5 minutes.UPDATE: Kids Preferred shipped a new one promptly to my grandson! 😁

A little crooked, but cute and works perfectly
Baby loves the Hungry Caterpillar and this toy is adorable and works well with the standard "pop goes the weasel" music. Only docked a star because the caterpillar is a bit crooked, but it's holding up well to occasional use (and being thrown on the floor by baby)!

I bought this because my 2-year-old is in love with the book and now she's even more in love with the caterpillar.I will say that there's a bit of a learning curve with shoving the caterpillar back into the box, but my 2-year-old figured it out in a few days. I also recommend sliding the tab all the way closed before turning the handle, or he might pop out before the song is finished.It was the perfect gift for my little one.

Cute but won’t last long
Very cute. For the most part, it’s what I was expecting. Wish the quality was better. The caterpillar pops out crooked, and I can’t bend its head back in place to normal. I don’t think this will last long it’s pretty poorly made, but it serves the nostalgic purpose.
