Yummy
The can had a small dent but no big deal. It was great. I just washed the jackfruit then boiled it to soften. It pulled just like pork and with taco seasoning it was delicious.

chicken-fried jackfruit yum
This was my first time buying (and cooking) jackfruit in general and this product in particular. Having read reviews about the briney taste, I rinsed the pieces well before cooking. Paired with a vegan chipotle ranch dressing, it was delicious! The texture and taste were pretty much indistinguishable from chicken. I'm glad I subscribed. I can see myself using this quite a lot! Oh, and none of the pieces in the can were tough or contained seeds, so nothing was wasted.

Perfect sub for chicken, pork, or tuna
You can use this as a sub "meat" replacement for chicken, pork, or even tuna. It will take on the flavor of whatever sauce or soup. It has texture, so you feel like you've eaten a meal! It comes in chunks, some have shredded edges, easily use for so many different recipes. Each can is packed full. It's a great value!

Tastes much better than I expected it to.
Makes very good "burgers". I followed a recipe I got out of the recipe book I ordered. The taste is different, but good.

Consistent product out of the can. I appreciate it has no added flavors.

Delicious, but way too expensive.
I tried this can of Jackfruit and it was my first time having any Jackfruit. It was delicious. I liked the texture better than canned Artichokes, and the taste was sweet. Maybe that's why it is called "fruit" because it has a slightly sweet, fruit taste to it. I just added a little Dash seasoning and ate it with rice.I will probably not order it again though, because it's expensive. I paid around $8.60 for a can. Canned Artichokes cost around $2.50 a can. If Jackfruit was the same price, I would eat Jackfruit on a regular basis, but I don't want to pay more than $2.50 a can. I'm guessing other brands are also expensive. It just must be an expensive item in general. Too bad it's not within my price range.UPDATE: I tried another brand that was cheaper but it tasted horrible. It's a shame that there are no affordable options for this product that also have good quality.

Great for plant-based and vegan recipes!
I haven't really experimented with a lot of jackfruit recipes, but I can 100% vouch for making vegan ribs!!Jackfruit can take on the taste/texture of many animal proteins, and now I'm excited to try to make jackfruit "chick'n" salad!!!

Not having dented cans
5 of the 6 cans have dents- no return policy or replacement - that sucks…
