I'll start with the fact that dress-up is so much fun for both my son and daughter that I encourage them to be ridiculous. The mess gets insane and the laughs loud. Now with this carousel the choices are expanded because they can see all of the items at a moments notice, the cubby bins keep all the little accessories straight and the bucket type hold the smaller ones as well, there are also 2 slender mirrors for teh instant gratification of seeing their ridiculousness.The hangers are a bit tall but my my daughter at 2 years old seems to stretch up there sufficiently enough.The assembly took less than a half an hour and the play could start immediately.The carton arrived torn and dented, but the manufacturer packed it so well that no contents were harmed, thankfully.I would highly recomend this item to anyone for play time or even a nice organizational piece of furniture for smaller spaces and kids clothes.This is essential for any dress-up playtime!

I almost did not purchase this because of the reviews saying how difficult it was to put together. Not at all the case for me. Instructions were easy to follow and I was able to put it together alone in an hour and a half with three small children running around. I think the biggest thing is to follow the instructions which say not to tighten the screws until the entire piece is assembled. I am pretty happy with the products, but I feel like the price is a bit high. Some of the pieces were scratched or had wood chipping around the screw holes and the backboard is curved a little as in the picture. I probably could have put it underneath something heavy to flatten it out before assembly but I thought it would straighten out when assembled. Overall happy with the product. I will say that it is not incredibly sturdy for younger children. If they climb on it it will definitely tip over. But I think that could be resolved by taking the rubber feet off the bottom so the wood is flush with the floor.

We were definitely disappointed in this purchase and would have returned it if it wasn't going to be such a pain with it's size. The quality is mediocre and it really doesn't hold much. If I could do it all over again, I would keep looking for something else.

Really functional and nice design. I bought the natural wood option for our daughter for her 4th birthday and it serves it's purpose.

This product is a great idea & overall the finished item is not bad--it will work as intended. However, this is without question the MOST FRUSTRATING construction project I have ever assembled for my kids! The so-called "Assembly Instructions" are CRAP! They consist of 4 diagrams instead of explicit step-by-step guidelines, which would make much more sense for a project of this complexity. FYI, for anyone buying this carousel: the 2 curved wooden panels (part of the drawers) MUST BE slid into the slots & held into place BEFORE you insert the screws on the mirrored side panels. If you screw the side panels together first (as indicated by the so-called "Instructions") & then attempt to insert the curved panels, the curved panels will not fit inside the slots where they need to go. You will then have to undo all the screws, insert the curved panels, and screw everything together again. I speak from experience here! Also, the various pieces are simply labeled with a letter (A, B, etc) and nothing indicates "this side up" or "this side down" which can lead to additional confusion and require multiple un-do and re-do attempts before you finally get the blasted thing put together. Oh, and don't bother calling Guidecraft Customer Service for assistance if the English language is your primary means of communication.

This item came in very quickly. My husband and a friend had it put together within an hour. They said it was very easy to assemble. I also love the mirrors because they are real rather than those plastic reflection pieces. The lazy suzan effect it has it perfect for my daughter's already crowded room because we can have it in a corner and it holds SO many of her shoes, toys, jackets, jewelry, etc. I highly recommend this product.

This is the perfect height and storage capacity for all the coats, gloves, hats, backpacks, etc that my kids used to leave around the house. They can reach everything on this easily and it holds quite a bit.

Great quality, cute, and child loves it.
