Working, very economical heat gun.
Working heat gun. Needed it for shrinking some heat shrink tubing and it delivered. A variety of metal nozzles look mildly useful but probably just themselves heat up and deliver a nasty burn, so I didn't bother.I particularly liked that you can set this heat gun down on a surface, on its side, and nothing hot touches that surface.

Hard Working Heat Gun!
This little heat gun is great. We had to remove flooring after a flood and the resulting hard glue needed to be removed. At first my husband used a hammer an chisel but that was a hard, slow process. After talking to a neighbor who had a similar situation, he tried using the heat gun. Although using the heat gun didn't make the job a breeze, it made it much easier to remove the stubborn, rock hard glue. We had a different brand heat gun my husband owned for many years but sadly it went along with the flood waters. This little guy was a cost effective replacement that got the job done.

Honest Review
As a dad who handles most of the DIY projects around the house, I’ve found the Genesis GHG1500A Dual Temperature Heat Gun to be a handy addition to my tool collection. I’m not a professional, but I know my way around basic home repairs and crafts, and this heat gun has made jobs like stripping paint, loosening old stickers, and even thawing frozen pipes a lot easier. The tool is lightweight and comfortable to hold, so I can use it for longer periods without my hand getting tired. The simple rocker switch lets me flip between the two temperature settings-low (572°F) for lighter jobs and high (1,000°F) when I need more power. It comes with four different nozzle attachments, which I’ve used for everything from shrinking electrical tubing to focusing heat on stubborn bolts. The attachments are easy to swap out and help keep the heat where I want it.For the price, the Genesis heat gun heats up quickly and puts out plenty of hot air. I’ve used it on everything from home improvement tasks to little projects with my kids, like shrink-wrapping and crafts. It cools down pretty fast after use, which is great when you have little ones running around. If you’re a parent or homeowner who likes to tackle your own repairs and projects, the Genesis GHG1500A is a practical, affordable tool to have on hand. It’s easy to use, comes with useful attachments, and gets the job done for most household needs. Just don’t expect it to be a heavy-duty, professional-grade tool, and you’ll be happy with what it offers.

Six years and still works well!
I don’t use this that often but it still works quite well aux years after purchase. Only now did I finally realize that you can stand the heat gun on its end to free your hands when shrinking things like solder seal wire connectors! It stands well and gets really red hot on its hottest setting.

Very good tool at a good price
After splicing the wires, I put the shrink tubing on and used a heat gun to shrink the shrink tubing. It worked as expected. In a matter of seconds, the shrink tubing shrunk and completely insulated the copper portion of the wire. Two temperature settings, a long enough cord, and a heat gun that can be safely stood upright after use - these are the three best things about this product. And the price is really good :-)
