Fantastic quality. Prog at its finest.
Never has an audience loved a band more. First act is band playing great tunes from their catalog. Second set has a surprise that I wont tell you about. Picture and sound quality are 5/5. Have known about Marillion for years but never listened to them. What was I waiting for. Buy this.

Marillion Owns The Night at the Mecca of Venues
I own only one other live Marillion concert DVD, Marbles On the Road. But this one at the Mecca of all concert venues, The Royal Albert Hall, has Marillion in rare air, a historic venue that commands your very best. And do they ever deliver! Taken from the F.E.A.R. tour, they play the album in its entirety. And since I missed that tour in Dallas (ice storm in Oklahoma), this makes up for it (sort of; that would have been my first time to ever see them). But hey, that’s why we buy these concert DVD’s, right? Anyway, the entire FEAR album on disc one was played to perfection. Brilliant from start to finish. The second disc, part two of the concert, features a really great Marillion move, adding a group of violins, cello, flute and horn players that really compliment the band in a profound way. The entire set of songs: The Space, Afraid of Sunlight, The Great Escape, Easter, Go!, Man of a Thousand Faces, Waiting to Happen, Neverland, and the encore The Leavers, All One Tonight is played magnificently by the band, and their accompanying mini orchestra. As for the camera effects, nothing short of 5 stars. They make sure their focus is always the key elements of the song, whether it’s H singing lyrics with his unique, passionate expressions, Pete’s bass playing with his infectious smile, Steve’s brilliance at guitar and his solos’s, Mark’s stellar keyboard play, or Ian’s steady (eyes closed with focus) work on drums. Every camera change is just right. Not jerking from one spot to another without purpose. These guys did it perfect. If you want to experience Marillion at the top of their game, buy this special concert at the mecca of all concert venues. Marillion owned the Hall for this night. They, and the audience, were certainly All One that Night!

A great concert.
Wow! I first saw a couple of videos on YouTube from this concert and after trepidation with a few all region BluRays that simply didn’t work or were mislabeled in the descriptions but were PAL rather than NTSC as used in the Americas. No problem here. For me Marillion is frequently a band who’s music doesn’t always immediately register with me but takes several listens to sink in at which point I come to love their work. The FEAR album was like that as well. I think seeing it live and being able to get the full weight of the album helped in no small part by the frequently changing subtle but effective video behind the band along with a good light show which makes the albums dark intensity easier to digest.I loved the second set which was truly inspired. The small classical ensemble really brought out elements in the set that were extremely complimentary rather then an add on as sometimes happens with rock bands. It is fun to watch Marillion. As multi decade entertainers (and wonderful musicians) it is easy to expect musical expression to speak for itself but H knows how to work an audience, especially since their fan base is particular. For Marillion fans this is a no brainer purchase.

Fantastic
An amazing polished event at one of the most famous venues in the World. Best band most Americans have never heard of...! Blu-Ray has great sound and picture. Incredibly engaging performance.I purchased the Blu-Ray from seller Avatarmusic in the UK as they were the only seller that could guarantee the disc I would receive was all region and would play on US DVD players. I've had to return DVD's before because of this problem from Amazon, sometimes it even stated all region, but what I received wasn't. It arrived very quickly from the UK and the seller was very communicative.... thanks.

Excellent blu-ray concert!
I thought the concert was very good some excellent songs. The video was very good & the audio very good (5.1 + Stereo), I only listen to the 5.1. Really nice all around blu-ray concert. Essential Marillion; if your a fan of the band. Recommend blu-ray concert if you find their style appealing. Have fun!

Outstanding
What an amazing show. The band was really tight as they always are. They went all out with a great light show and stage presence which was rwally well done. The Folly String Quartet were tremendous and added a nice addtion to the performance, along with Sam Morris on French Horn. I saw this tour twice during the past couple of years and this show at the Royal Albert Hall brings the concert to life. Great Show, Great Band, Great DVD. A must for everyone to experience. Buy this DVD and you will be glad you did. Enjoy!!

This is NOT what I expected..
If you're looking for a live concert Blu-Ray, this isn't the one. It's a quasi-documentary with 5 or 6 songs recorded to interact with a visual display of colors and objects. May be a fun DVD if you're rolling, but I was looking for a full concert performance. This was a waste of money.

OMG!!!
What a terrific concert, great audio mix, visual is as clear as can be. The performance by the band in my view was as tight as I've ever heard or seen. After so many years together without Fish, they are better now than they have ever been.I was a huge fan of lead singer Fish before he left the band and felt that the music would suffer,I was wrong, these guys are for real and a joy to listen to.I will be putting this concert dvd in play for many years to come.!!
