Installed on my 1997 k1500 Silverado with the 5.7l. Easy as you'd expect to install, just replacing the stock filter probably takes a minute of work. It looks like a good quality filter comes pre-oiled will be nice to be able to clean and reuse this one. Was looking for better gas mileage. I have used a few gas tanks worth with this filter already, and I seem to have an improvement of around 1-2 miles per gallon difference. I originally got 10-12 and on my latest fill ups I've been getting 14. don't notice any power or performance increase, but the gas mileage is a plus.

This fit perfectly in my '99 Chevy Tahoe. We have noticed about a 1.5mpg increase which i was not eexpecting. Throttle response is improved and it just seems smoother in the power delivery overall.

While I am somewhat handy with vehicles, you don't have to be when changing most air filters. Some might think it is crazy, but I really believe these things do what they say they do... improveme in mileage and power. While not overwhelming, it is certainly noticeable. Combine it with a few other mods and I think you'll be surprised, I know I was. I am now saving two miles per gallon between this and a few other changes I made. All that aside, they last forever with the occasional cleaning so you can't go wrong. Great filter.
