Outstanding middle school math activities
The math enrichment materials in this book are beyond excellent. They are designed to supplement the middle school curriculum and encourage development of higher level mathematical reasoning skills. This new edition has 50 new activity sets plus the original 50 activity sets from the first edition. Each page is a stand-alone activity, and complete solutions for teachers are provided. I have used some of the materials in my classroom, and the kids really enjoyed them. The problems are engaging for students of all ability levels. They would be good for use in a public school, private school, or home school situation.

Strengthen math concepts and skills in a creative and fun way
I have been teaching and tutoring math for many years. I find that I am always looking for extra materials to challenge my students so that they think outside the box. This book and "Math Analogies Level 3", also written by Darin Bigie, are simply perfect for that! They promote critical thinking in a creative and fun way. They strengthen math concepts and skills in a such a way that is different than the boring and mundane textbooks. These books are must-haves if you are a math teacher or a tutor.

Outstanding Math Resource!
This is a phenomenal resource. One or two worksheets can keep an entire class engaged and excited for a 60-minute period because the questions are so well-designed and challenging. I love the design of the worksheets as well - the graphics are big and bold, the font is easy to read, and there's plenty of space for students to show their work. A must have for any middle school math teacher.

incredible problem solving resource
Rarely is a sequel better than the original, but this invaluable resource has managed to buck the trend. If you are a middle school teacher looking to infuse ready-made worksheets into the curriculum, you will not find a better source.

Much more difficult than the previous one in the seriies
My twelve year old worked through the previous book in the series but encountered a few problems that required my explaining to him how to think about approaching them. This collection of problems starts off requiring both of us to be at the white board so that I can point out how to approach them. Fortunately, once explained, he tackles similar problems without my aid.

Excellent book
This is book has very well thought out problems which require the student to apply what they've learned in real life situations. The problems are the best that I've seen anywhere.
