Kryptonite Evolution Compact Lock - Orange, Disc

Very strong and looks the part. A few drops of oil into the key hole and the lock works beautifully.

Good visibly and deterrent for wanabe thieves.

After having conventional disc locks like Abus and Oxford pin disc locks, both of them failed and had to be cut off. I decided I wanted a padlock type disc lock. I took a chance on this Kryptonite look. What fantastic lock. It can be locked with the two bars going through the disc. So a scum bag would need to cut both bars to get it off.It's small enough to be carried on the bike when not in use.

Love this and I think it will take a bit longer than most locks to get past even with an angle grinder as you have to cut it twice I would suggest that you always fit through the inner section of the disk brake disk as that will make it more awkward to grind and smash without potential damage to the diskNote if like me your wheels and disks are a bit dirty with brake disk dust you will get grubby hands (a small price to pay)I did forget to remove this and had not used the reminder strap and it stopped the bike dead no damage to the disk or lock but I had bruised ego and leg LOLI only dropped 1 star as I was hoping the lock would fit through the holes in the disk but thinking about that it would make for a weaker lock, also the fact I get dirty every day I fit this and the reminder strap is a bit short so 4 stars, not 5I would recommend this though

very strong lock that is difficult to cut through, i have designed a extra armour plate to retro fit to the lock to make cutting almost impossible this will be available soon via ebay and amazon

Very good , seems very strong , expect to get hand dirty putting it on and off a bit fiddly, is quite small, easy to carry .

This lock is nice and small, and fits easily under my seat. I was previously using two kryptonite U locks which were a bit of a squeeze. It looks pretty sturdy, although it isn't too heavy - it would probably be OK to carry in your pocket.Fits perfectly on my front disc (street triple 765).It was initially a bit sticky so I have applied some lube, will see if it helps.
