Wii Controller Replacement Wii Remote Compatible with Nintendo Wii / Wii U No Motion Plus with Silicone Case and Wrist Strap (White)

I have had a Wii for many years but just recently my boyfriend and his three sons have been coming over more often and the boys always really love to play on the Wii. The problem is I just had the typical two remotes so they were always fighting over who gets to play first and who has to switch and whatnot. Getting this third remote has actually been amazing because they the can now all play Mario Kart together without anybody having to wait a turn. The remote looks and feels exactly like an actual Nintendo brand remote only it doesn't have the "Wii" logo on it. It was really easy to pair just like any other remote all you have to do is open up the little part on the console push the pair button then you pushed the pair button on the remote and it linked a second. This specific remote comes with a silicone cover and a wrist attachment piece at the bottom for it though I took them because I wanted to be able to put in a rechargeable battery pack that I already had so that I can plug it into my rechargeable base and not have to use as many batteries. It worked out to be fine. I will probably even be buying another one so I can have a full set of 4 and my six-year-old daughter can also join the boys if she wishes.

This was purchased to replace a Wii controller that one of my son's college roommates apparently dropped in a beer. This new one is generic but otherwise looks exactly like the original Wii controller and functions well. It arrived exactly as pictured and has no instructions on pairing with the Wii, but after quickly googling I learned all that was needed was to press the button inside the battery compartment of the controller (after putting batteries in) and then pressing the button inside the little door on the console (to the left or below the disk slot, depending on how you keep your console oriented). Voila! Connected just like that.

I wish I would have spent the extra money and got an actual Wii remote. This works ok but has a loud noise when using it. I didn’t realize it wasn’t an actual Wii remote until I opened it. It doesn’t have “Wii” on the front. Took a while to sync but eventually I got it to work. Next time I have to be a better online shopper. I’m not returning it because it does work. It for the grandkids to play with so doesn’t get a lot of use anyway.

These were easy to connect and work well for most games, however if you’re playing Mario kart, I wouldn’t recommend as they don’t steer very well!

Have a very old Wii system - probably 15 years old and my younger grandson still likes to play it with me - we needed a new controller and this one was perfect - great price- quick delivery- and in perfect condition (refurbished)

This works well for our old Wii system. Our grandchildren love to play it when they visit and one of our controllers quit working. We decided to try this and are pleased with it.
