Attractive mailbox and just the right size!

Perfect fit for my needs

After many years our previous mailbox had become aged and tired looking. I was also getting comments from our postman that many smaller Amazon boxes would not fit in our mailbox. He wasn't complaining, he would just say "I brought this down to you because it wouldn't fit in your mailbox".This Roxbury mailbox is larger, but my wife, who makes all final decisions in our house, says it is not too large. It is well made and I like its clean lines, traditional red flag, and hint of decoration on the front. It has a magnetic catch that I like better than the friction closure on our previous mailbox. The front pull and the flag are nicely cast, but to me they look more like cast plastic than cast aluminum. Unfortunately, the mailbox is a bit expensive.

I love the mailbox, but the door hinges are real cheap.The hinges break real easy.

Perfect mailbox for what we needed! Not too large or small. It's average size. The rubbed bronze color is beautiful and adds that little pop of color if you don't want to go with standard black. We love the nickel colored flag versus the standard red flag. Also, the magnetic closure... YES. The knob to open the mailbox is more of a square shape and adds curb appeal in my opinion. So durable and clean. Also, directions were included suggesting 2" bolts, nuts, and washers. That's what we used! Installed in less than 30 minutes.

This holds most packages. We are loving it so far. Looks great. We didn’t get a kit and probably needed one, but we marked holes on the post, drilled the holes and attached it ourselves.

Doesn’t come with screws or assembly so you’ll have a pretty bronze box with shiny screws you have to buy making your bronze colored box ugly. I returned the first one because it didn’t have any hardware only to get another one with no hardware. Chrome on bronze isn’t cute! I’m stuck with it because I wasn’t gonna go a third round asking for one with hardware & not having a functional mailbox for works.

I was really impressed by how solid this mailbox was. I’ve never had such good quality in a mailbox.
