Wow
I can't believe I was about to take my microwave out and replace it with another for almost $400. A quick YouTube video and this part here in about half hour time the microwave is working perfectly. Very simple to do just make sure that you unplug your microwave before you work on it.

Great value, microwave saved!
Works great. 15 minutes (I've done it before) and my microwave is working perfectly again. I only needed the Normally Closed switch right now but am happy to have the Normally Open switch as a backup if and when that microswitch in my microwave goes bad. For those that are having problems with the switch working - make sure you are using the correct one! Look closely at the switch you remove. On the side it has a diagram with NC and NO on it. If the prong is at the NC you need to use the Normally Closed switch and if the prong is at the NO you need the Normally Open switch. Most microwaves have both switches so you need to double check which one you are replacing.

Install switches in correct position (upper or lower), they are not identical.
I have a six years old microwave, courtesy of the original owners of my home, and the door latches just stopped working properly (door stayed shut). When I searched online I found a review of my model microwave where the reviewer had door problems and fixed them by replacing the door latch switches with these. I ordered the 2Pack of LONYE KW3A Microwave Door Switches (1 normally closed & 1 normally open) suggested by the reviewer. As my unit is built into the kitchen cabinets with an expensive trim set surrounding it I wanted to be sure that the suggested fix would work. Well it worked beautifully, THANK YOU Tyler Bradley! Although it seemed like only the upper switch wasn't working I decided to replace both while I had the microwave on the counter and opened up. If one switch goes bad how long before the second one follows suit. The microwave is working fine now. Although I would not have bought this microwave myself it does the job for us.

Works just like it should. Comes in pair which is great.
So far, so good. The switch does the job. In my case, my Kenmore microwave wasn't heating or rotating but the control board was fine and the lights were on. I had to replace the top switch of the microwave door and it worked like a charm. This is a universal switch and should work for most of the microwaves.

Ignore Some Negative Reviews
Update (2) - 2/6/21:The switch has continued to work for the past 5 months so I added 1 star back. I did have a problem with the microwave fuse blowing when the microwave was running and the door was opened to stop it. It turns out the latch board (plastic piece the switches mount in and the door hooks engage) was worn in a way were it was possible when pulling on the door to open it for the normally closed switch to disengage while the other 2 switches remained engaged causing all 3 to have continuity for an instant. I replaced the latch board so now if someone tries to open the door before cooking stops (or it is paused / cancelled) that the Normally Closed switch doesn't disengage early and blow the fuse or circuit breaker. This might have contributed to my original switch to have failed over time. I'd suggest looking at this carefully when replacing switches.Update:The original Normally Closed replacement switch failed in less than 24 hours after installing it. The company was very responsive and processed a refund right away after contacting them. I reordered the switches and have had the new one installed for 5 days of regular use - so far so good. It could have just been a bad sample, but I removed 1 star until I see if it continues to work longer term. Again I'm very happy with the responsiveness of the seller in addressing the issue.Original review:I was able to fix my GE Microwave which had a bad middle monitor switch and kept blowing the 20 Amp dedicate circuit breaker. The switches I received are the same brand, Dongnan, as original. When ordering I had already troubleshot the problem to know I needed the Normally Closed switch, but bought this kit having the Normally Open switch as well since it wasn't much additional money and to have on hand if one of them fails in the future. It seems like some people giving negative reviews don't understand there are 2 different types of switches used for microwave doors, and don't understand the meaning of Normally Open and Normally Closed switches. Microwaves have 2 Normally Open switches (top and bottom) and 1 Normally Closed switch (middle) which you can by tell by looking to see if the terminal on the end is lined up with the NO or NC lines respectively on the diagram on the switch. With an Ohmmeter you can also verify the Normally Open switch will not have continuity when the button is not pressed, and will have continuity when the button is pressed. Normally Closed switches are the opposite where there is continuity when the button is not pressed, and is open when it is pressed. When the microwave door is shut the buttons on all 3 switches are pressed, so the top and bottom switches which are Normally Open will have continuity, and the middle switch which is Normally Closed will not have continuity. Opening the door results in the opposite, Top and bottom are open with no continuity, and the middle is closed and has continuity. I knew my original Normally Closed switch was bad because there was continuity regardless of whether the door was open or closed.I disagree with the negative reviews when it is user error and nothing to do with the product.

The right parts at a fair price.
This was a lifesaver for us. The Kenmore 790.80333310 microwave quit the same day we started having refrigerator issues so we had a local repair man on the way. He said that allMicrowaves are losers to invest in fixing as he said the chance there could be repeat issues is too high to justify a $200 plus repair bill. Being handy I looked online and found the parts needed and Amazon was cheapest. I also bought these fuses. BlueCatELE. Microwave Fuse Ceramic Fuse Cartridge Fuse 20 Amp 250V Slow-Blow Compatible and Universal Replace for GE WB27X10388 and Whirlpool Kenmore Other Microwave 5 PCSThe replacement of the two switches was easy and it worked saved a $300 plus microwave and the cost of install on a new one which is about $160 plus. Fair warning multiple repair sites say fuses could blow again. So decide if you want to invest the time about 35 minutes between ordering and your labor it might save you buying new.

Fixed it myself in about 10 minutes.
I have a Dacor DMT 2420. The door switch has been replaced once by the technician for $300. I watched closely and thankfully this switch worked perfect. After taken apart it only took about 10 minutes to fix and back in the wall in 10. I received two switched for $11 and that was expedited shipping. Highly recommend doing it yourself! In the photo the original Dacor part switch is on top. Purchased switch is on bottom. Works perfect and am so happy I did this myself!
