I really resisted buying this collar because I hate the idea of shocking my dog. A friend at the dog park let me try his dog's collar on my girl, and I was happy to discover that the pager feature was all I really needed. I’ve been using my own collar now for about six months and am really pleased with how well it’s worked as a training aid. The pager feature vibrates at a level that is comparable to a smartphone on the vibrate setting. It’s just enough to get my dog’s attention, which is all she needs for basic obedience training. I’ve only had to use the shock option once, and it was to stop her from running after a wild animal at the park. In that event, it was necessary and effective. The shock feature does have a very wide range of settings, with the lowest being nothing more than a tingle, so this collar can be used on either the page or shock setting without causing any distress to the dog.I’m also very impressed with the quality of the collar. Yes, there are cheaper collars available, but I’m glad I sprung for this one. Maya wears hers to the dog park, where she wrestles with other dogs and gets it wet, dirty, and chewed on. It's holding up fine and looks like it will last for many years. The remote device is also well made and comes with both a lanyard and belt clip. Recharging is quick and easy. Maya wears her collar about an hour a day, and I plug it into the charger once a week.For those who have asked if it works on long haired dogs, yes, it does! Maya is a Samoyed, a double-coated breed with a very thick/long coat. I’ve included a photo of the collar on her. Even through all that hair, it works great. I really can't recommend this product enough. VERY pleased with my purchase.

My Husky has went through so many collars! This one is still going strong and it’s been almost 10 months. The range is good, but not great, and it’s waterproof. I only charge it every other night. It holds charge better than most collars. I was charging his last one every day. It takes about 4 hours to charge. The flashing light that lets you know if it’s going dead or if it’s charged is very helpful. With other collars, I had to find out they were dead by trying it. With this one, I put it on charge when it flashes yellow. It doesn’t seem too heavy. The only way I would buy another collar, is if I could afford one with gps/tells me where he is or one that had better range. Those are about $800 so I’ll probably stick with this one bc it’s great overall.

Looks really good one , still didn’t tried it yet but I think it will be useful for us , I liked the fact there is also vibration..

The product is very good. I use it now for 4 month . I have a big dog , who had to learn many things which is not possible with just goodies. From the beginning he was very aggressive with our employees. With this product he learned that he just can't act how he wants. He didnt like people when we walked on the beach, he learned very fast that he couldn't run to them and bark. Now we walk without a leash on the beach and he just ignores them. I tried the product first on myself, because I didnt want to make it too strong, that I would recommend to everybody who loves his dog.

I like it much better than my old ecollar and the hands-free button is a game changer for proper timing. I do wish the collar itself had a quick release along with the buckle and it’d be nice to have a beep/noise feature, but I knew that it didn’t have either so that’s not affecting anything. My only actual issue is I didn’t get the collapsible bowl, but that’s not a huge deal. Everything else is correct and works as detailed!

This collar only had about 15 feet of range. It took over 30 days to find this out since the dog was still getting used to the collar and my commands were by the dog when I was handling him. Once I started sending the dog out, or walking away on a long down I noticed that the collar didn't work at a distance. When I got the box it was open and did not come with the manual. When I contacted the seller they told me to use the Dogtra warranty and send it back to them for repairs. Dogtra sent an antenna after 3 weeks that didn't work now I have to pay to send it back to them to have the collar that was supposedly brand new repaired. Don't waste your money here.
