I purchased this for my son after looking at several costume stores. This helmet was perfect for his Spartan Halloween costume! It is soft sided and elasticized inside which provided a perfect fit. It was light weight and allowed him good movement. If you are looking for a hard material helmet, you should pass on this one. However this was just what we needed!

We have bought three of these. They look good and they're comfortable. My son plans to add a string to the bottom of the cheek pieces so they can be tied under the chin and not stick out so far.

It's not made from high durable plastic as it is seen on the picture. It's been made from fabric, a very hard fabric so don't expect a hard surface. But anyway it looks cool. I could able to use it on a short film.

It is definitely a One-size. got to complete kid's costume, was a bit large. Spray painted the helmet gold , and while the look was great, the mateials (vinyl and cloth) took a while to cure, and then still had a bit of a tacky feel to them. Overall, it did the job. It's still used by the kids for play. Just keep in mind that the helmet IS floppy due to soft materials used.

Came in two days later than they said it would and didn't have it in time for halloween. It's really floppy, not the greatest quality either.

Bought this early for Halloween and just enjoyment. Was very nervous buying this because it had no reviews at the time and there is a lot of bad hats that try to copy this look. I even went so far as to buying a back up one that was much cheaper. But let me say this has to be the best Spartan/Gladiator hat on the market right now for this price. It fit great and was soft on the inside like a cloth and plush but still had a steady feel on the inside. The outside face guard thing is made of something more solid so it keeps it's form and gives it that hard sturdy look. I'm so impressed with the quality and price. Only paid $35 ish bucks for this hat and it's amazing. It's perfect for LARP or for Halloween. 5/5 won't find anything like this one!
