WE LOVE THESE ROCKERSThey do come with up keep we use teak oil on them every spring and again in late summer our high desert heat does a number on them.They are well built, stylish and everyone who sits in them remarks how comfortable they are even our tall friends..We would buy them again their not cheap but they are so worth it.

We've had a four of these chairs for more than two years now. The chairs are attractive, comfortable, and are holding up well after two years on the porch. I did rub them with a coating of linseed oil, but I'm guessing the eucalyptus wood would weather just as well without the oil. We initially bought just two chairs, but liked them so much that we bought two more.

We are very happy with our new rockers. Easy to assemble with video instructions. I put both together in about 30 min. Comfortable on the porch with just the right amount of height and rocker. I think with mild maintenance on the wood these will last for a very long time.

Very sturdy and handsome chair. Comfortable, too. Here's the "secret" to assembling the chair: Attach the rocker sides to the cross brace first. Leave the screws loose enough to allow some movement. Next, attach the back, again leaving the bolts somewhat loose. Finally, attach the seat an tighten everything up. Do things in this order, and you will have no trouble whatsoever. I am 79 years old, and it took me 15 minutes to assemble the chair, working alone.

After reading several reviews, I was sure to also order Linseed oil to oil all of the wood even before assembly.The chairs were fairly easy to assemble. I had to redrill one hole at the end to make it all fit, and I studied everything for several days before I actually had the nerve to do it. I was afraid I had somehow made a mistake in construction, which would be difficult to do. Simple and good instructions. All tools and screws, etc. included. The only part I can fault is the short rock, but that is more of a preference.

Purchased as indoor porch chairs, and they look really high quality/have a classic look to them. We also move them inside in the winter in front of our wood stove (the ikea poang chair cushions pit perfectly on them). You are supposed to oil them, which admittedly I have not yet, but there are instructions on a tag that comes with it. Only complaint was assembly - one of the chairs was super easy but the other had holes that didn't line up correctly, so my partner actually had to use a drill to make the holes bigger. This was a bit frustrating/stressful, as I was worried the chairs would get ruined. They are fine, but this is a quality control issue that you may run into.

We purchased this rocker in June from Amazon and were very pleased with it so we ordered a second one and the table. The second rocker arrived in a carton that looked as if it had been feasted on by rodents..parts chewed on and destroyed, however the rocker appeared to be undamaged but did not match the first rocker that we already had. Apparently there are two variations of this item. If you look at the top left on the product page ,there are very small images of both both rockers...even though the item number is the same. The original rocker is well designed, comfortable and matches the product description whereas the other variation doesn't so much. After explaining this in emails ,Amazon sent us a replacement rocker..but alas, it also didn't match our original rocker. Next we tried talking to a customer service rep who explained that the inventory was probably a random mix of designs but she would try to send us the correct rocker this time. You guessed it..the third replacement was also wrong! We re-crated the three "wrong" repacement rockers and sent them back to Amazon.If you want a pair of rocking chairs like we did, you might get lucky. Maybe we can find a matching rocking chair to complete our set at a "real" store.Update: I recently received a call from the owner of Outdoor Interior, the company that markets the rocking chair in this review. He apologized and fully explained the circumstances of the mix-up with the two versions of the rocker sold on Amazon. He also offered to send me the new style of rocker after the next shipment arrives at cost. I was very impressed with his concern and willingness to assure the satisfaction of his customers.Truely a class act!!

What a great rocking chair for the price. Very sturdy and comfortable. No issues with the chair on arrival. I love it for our back porch.Assembly is annoying for one person but with it.
