Excellent addition to ANY Camera
I first started using these ProDots about ten years ago on all my Nikon DSLR's. Since moving to Sony mirrorless, I felt something was missing from my shooting experience. I finally realized what it was; I was missing my ProDots! These tiny little seemingly insignificant pieces of rubber really transform the camera and allow me to not have to think so much when trying to find the button; my finger feels the rubber nub and immediately goes to it. It feels nice and soft, and the tactile feedback when using the ProDot is so much better than a hard button. The ProDot has been extremely helpful for me as I transitioned to new equipment where the record button is separate from the shutter button on my Sony ZV-E1. I put a ProDot on the video record button and it's made all the difference for me.Highly recommended. While I rated adjesion low, this is actually a good thing. I've had the ProDot get stuck against a SmallRig frame once, and the button popped right off instead of pulling the camera's button out. This is good for the safety of your equipment and I believe is by design. I always purchase a few extra to have on-hand just in case I lose one, but that's a small price to pay for the knowledge that a ProDot isn't going to pull the button out of my camera.

Great for finding the shutter button!
I bought these for my new Sony RX100 VII, the shutter button sits near the power button and has very little contour. This changes that and so far it seems to be adhering well. It also softens the press of the shutter, I've found that it's easy when you're capturing an exciting moment to stab your finger down on the shutter button and introduce blur, this helps combat that. On top of that it adds a splash of color on a mostly black camera, looks cool. I'll be ordering another set for my other cameras.

Nice touch
These are a nice touch to your camera. I use it to make my R5 look like an R5C lol. They can come off easy if you are rough with your camera though but they are so cheap I wouldn’t mind buying more.

I love these buttons
I use these on all my cameras that don't have a threaded release button. Unlike the feel on these releases and it gives me better control when I release the shutter. The only issue I have with the buttons is the adhesive sometimes does not stick for a very long time. This is probably because I live in Hawaii where the heat and humidity is high. Other than that, these are really helpful in controlling shutters release.

They fall off in just days... They work while on, but they don't stay on. SEE UPDATE!
A great idea that when it is attached, is a great idea. However, they rarely stay on for too terribly long. I've used the ProDot on shutter releases on Canon 70D, 40D, Olympus OM-D systems, and on NONE of them, do the ProDots stay attached for more than a few days. The adhesive is substandard in my view. I tried cleaning the shutter release button with alcohol swabs, letting it dry, waiting a day, and applying the ProDots... They fall off no matter what I do. When they are on, it really is a great idea, helps with more predictable and smooth shutter releases, which of course leads to clearer, sharper shots. Unfortunately, that can only happen for a day or so until the bloody thing falls off and cannot be reattached. Now, as an update, I sent Custom SLR an email asking for them to advise me on their product since I prepared the shutter release button exactly as they stated, applied the dots exactly as they directed, and they all, (5 sets of 2) all fell off within a few days of use. I will update this review if and when they respond.Customer Service DID respond, and after some conversation as to what caused my Pro Dots to fall off so quickly off of both cameras, repeatedly... They sent me replacement black Pro Dots. They seem to be staying on much better so far than the red. I will let you know if they survive the ubiquitous in and out of the camera bag process that Custom SLR says is what is causing them to be rubbed off quickly. Cameras go in and out of camera bags, to me the adhesive should be strong enough to withstand that basic function of photography. We shall see!

They don't stay on. Especially depends on the camera.
I really like these, but the adhesive is not strong enough to keep them on. They also have a flat profile, so the less flat your shutter button is, the less they will stick. I have had good success on my Nikon Z cameras (although a red dot just fell off my Z7ii so I ordered a replacement). The Nikon shutter buttons are slightly rounded, so there is not full contact at the edges of the ProDot.They won't work at all on my Olympus cameras. Olympus cameras have a conical shutter button shape, so they only stick in the center and fall off easily. When viewed from the side, it's easy to see the problem; big gaps at the edges and very little contact space. But I like having the two colores (black and red), and use those to easily distinguish between camera bodies (like my Nikon Z6ii/Z7ii pair, or Olympus E-M1iii and OM Systems OM-1).For the Olympus/OM Systems bodies, I used some JB Weld epoxy and permanently attached them. They won't come off, that's for sure. But this solution might be a problem if you plan to sell or trade the camera. I do plan to dump the Nikon cameras in the near future, so removing them is important. But I won't be selling the Olympus or OM Systems bodies until they are worth very little, so I would rather have them stay on.The only way these shutter button add ons will work is if they make them with a concave base that guarantees better contact with the shutter button, and use an adhesive that is stronger.
