Uke Rhythms: Picking and Strumming Patterns

While I understand Dorayme’s disappointment in expecting finger picking patterns instead of strumming patterns, I give this five stars for an introduction to strumming techniques and patterns (with one fingerpicking pattern). There is sheet music and tablature for each example, and you can download the audio using the link on the title page. It will be very helpful if you can read sheet music rhythm, but you have the audio examples, if you cannot. All of the examples are in 4/4 time except for the Celtic Uke, which is in 6/8 time. Chord diagrams and a uke fretboard with notes are included.

This wasn't what I thought it was at all. I was expecting mostly picking patterns, not strumming ones.

I will be using this with my students...It is helping me, too!!!
