Vivifying Red Twine, 656 Feet 2mm Christmas Twine String for Gift Wrapping, Crafts, Packing and Decoration

Used for tying veggies and to train small shrub branches. Very good for those purposes but don't know how much more strength it could handle, hence, 4 stars.

The quality of this garden twine is good and holds reasonable pressure as one would expect of twine. How to initially extract the end of the twine from the spool was problematic. It resulted in needing to pull out extra string in the form of a mini bundle of twine (~20ft) to find the end. After the aggravating start, the twine really proved effective at restraining heavy pumpkin vines grown vertically and of course was effective in common uses such as tying up tomatoes, flowers, and other plants. It cuts well with scissors.

Does a great job. Just what I needed

I switched to string and plant holders so I could lower my tomato vines as they grew taller. This string works great for tomatoes, cucumbers, and vine growing veggies, and at a good price.

Second year I’ve bought this for tying tomato plants to stakes. Wound up using the whole spool for other stuff around the house last year and it certainly came in handy.It’s a three ply material. Attached a pic to show. It’s strong and have to cut it with scissors.

So this review is on garden twine. Nothing too exotic or complex to discuss. Does it work? Yes, it holds a knot well and lasts well in the elements. I use it primarily to tie-up tomato plants during the growing season. This dark green color blends in better in my vegetable garden than the typical light brown color. If you’re looking for gardening twine, i recommend this product.

I use these as a climbing guide/support for pole beans, tomatoes and clematis. I also use plastic round clips but these plants also grow upwards rapidly and need guidance/support in that direction too. These are cut to measure, super soft yet very durable (haven't come untied or disintegrated in the wind and rain). A pack of two bundles will likely last me a couple of years for the amount of plants I have.

Wenn man einen Webrahmen aufschärt sind Knoten in den Kettfäden so ziemlich das Letzte, was man finden möchte. Aber weil a) der Artikel wahrscheinlich nie zum Weben gedacht war und b) das Endergebnis ein eher rustikaler Rucksackgurt werden soll, kann ich dafür schlecht was abziehen. Von daher - alles shiny.

Pienamente soddisfatta

Die Farben der Garne sind sehr schön. Ich wollte sie für verschiedene Makrameearbeiten. Dafür waren die Garne aber zu dünn, entsprechen nicht der angegebenen 2mm Stärke , sondern sind nur 1mm stark. Schade!!!

Diese Jute-Kordeln gefallen mir sehr gut. Die Färbung ist intensiv und durchgehend. Und ganz wichtig: die Rollen stinken nicht. Ich nutze es für Makramee und freue mich, dass ich damit direkt loslegen kann. Andere Garne musste ich schon mal erst in die Waschmaschine stecken! ;)
