Good quality - works as designed
I bought these to be able to close the AC gauge hoses while connected to the AC system (prevents excess loss of refrigerant when connecting/disconnecting). You can shut off your liquid line and properly remove any excess refrigerant in the lines before disconnecting. Very easy to use and works as designed.

A nice gauge set addition
I added a set of these to my A/C manifold gauges and it has made a nice improvement to the tool. I can now close the ball valve at the port on the end of the hose and easily unscrew the fitting from the port without having to wear gloves to protect from the escaping refrigerant gas. Very handy to have these now that the pressure in the hoses can be relieved in a controlled manner.

OK but a little cheap
I have found that for AC, you have to know and trust your tools. Are they leak free? I would say almost. I saw some loss of pressure after 24hrs at 500psi in one of the valves. The levers are a little loose also, so you don't get a feeling of quality. They are ok for casual use.

Broke on first uae
The rubber gasket blew out the first time I used it and I ended up getting severe frost burn trying not to loose all my refrigerant

OK for price but...
These arrived on time, and seemed to be made sturdy, but one of them started leaking Freon during A/C repairs. Had to disconnect and after inspecting, found loose handle on the yellow ball valve.
