I got rid of my old Tupperware type plastic pitchers and am switching to glass. This pitcher is the perfect size for a quick batch of iced tea. It holds up well to boiling water and looks really elegant in the fridge. It has a delicate, modern look and feel. My family have commented that the tea tastes much better in glass compared to plastic.

I have two of these in the 51oz size. They are perfect for making cold tea. I usually use a mixture of teas (green, ginger herb, rooibos, etc). After pouring the boiling water over my tea bag in the pitcher, it seems to cool to room temperature in an hour or so. I always wait till cool before placing it in the refrigerator. Even though this is made of borosilicate, a shock temperature change will crack any glass. This can withstand both very high and very low temperatures — but it cannot go quickly from one to the other as a few reviews have alluded to and experienced cracking (of course). By the way, one of my pitchers was purchased 2 years ago and is still like new!.

I now have 3 of these pitches, one for lemonade, one for ice tea and one for ice coffee. They are great, look beautiful, very easy to use and the lid makes a tight seal.

Happy with size, weight, and appearance of pitcher. Perfect for maintaining a supply of favorite drinks - iced tea and lemonade. Only one concern: glass handle is relatively thin and attached to pitcher at very small points. Do not feel confident that handle won’t break from weight of pitcher so only lift while supporting bottom with other hand. Due to this would not get again.

I put a second one the first one was so good. I used it to make my iced tea and pour the hot liquids and pretty much as soon as it’s cooled down just a little bit. It handles the heat well the strainer in the cat helps with any lemon pulp getting through into your glass. Highly recommend.

Heyguys! groovy pitcher, I wish I would have ordered the biggest one, though all depends on if you're hosting for party or just the house, so I'll be just fine with my size after the party and probably glad I didn't order bigger one, because I'm sure to use this a lot. folks, while it says heat resistant, meaning you can "Pour" hot water into this heat resistant glass pitcher, as most "glass" pitchers will break if they are not "heat resistant". NO PUTTING ON STOVE though, I saw some pix of people placing this pitcher right on the burner, Absolutely NOT, I worry it would break, explode, you could get hurt. The Safest choice is to boil water in your kettle and then you can pour the hot water into this glass pitcher and wouldn't hurt to wait a minute to pour in the hot water. It will be perfect for my homemade lemonade tomorrow! Mostly, Just wanted to reach out about not to use for stovetop burner. enjoy

I absolutely love the SUSTEAS 2.0 Liter glass pitcher! It’s an elegant and practical addition to my kitchen.
