No more fumbling with Roku cable
Digital Restriction Management (DRM) does nothing but defecate on legitimate paying customers while actual pirates have no trouble circumventing it, and boy does Roku's DRM defecate heavily on paying customers. About every other day when somebody in my house goes to watch a show via Roku, it accuses us of trying to circumvent its anti-consumer copy-protection (see black screenshot). The setup says the TV is indeed capable of displaying "1080p content protection" BUT NOT "1080p" (see white screenshot). In the world of LOGIC, that's what we call a LOGICAL FALLACY.While the error displays, the show's audio plays, and then when you back out of the error you see a flash of the video playing, so when the error occurs my TV is definitely not incapable of displaying 1080p picture. The error reoccurs if you try to restart any show, so the only solution has been to UNPLUG the Roku's power cable then plug it back in so the device will reboot. This is extremely annoying, and it occurs so often that instead of reconnecting the power you want to just hurl the Roku box across the room. (Maybe after Netflix goes bankrupt and shuts down permanently I'll do a "Roku versus Sledgehammer Durability Test.")Now we have this cable with a power switch between the Roku and its power supply, so instead of fumbling with the Roku cord, we just flick the button off and on to instantly force the Roku box to reboot, and this somehow manages to take the edge off of the frustration.

Works great on Pi 2 Model B
I am using this on a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B and it works great. The button construction is very sturdy.

Works, convenient on/off for Raspberry Pi devices
I use these switch-enabled cables to power my multiple Raspberry Pi single board PC's. I don't notice voltage drop reported by others, but then I am powering from a fused, 5 VDC, 12A fixed supply buss, not wall power cubes. I will not be using the switches very often, so not sure I'll have longevity issues either! Time will tell.

Does what it says
It turn the power on. It turn the power off. Build is fine, so far no issues. It's black and has a button. Had micro usb in and micro usb out. Is a thing that does the thing the thing exists to do. Camera quality terrible. Non existent. Why is there option to rate camera? Two thumbs up.

Much easier than unplugging the micro-sd connector
This switch provides a quick way to power-cycle the Pi without futzing with the micro-sd power connector.

Exactly what I dreamed of.
I have a raspberry pi I keep at my desk and attached to a KVM but hated having to get up to unplug from the surge protector on top of my desk shelf. I knew I wanted a simple power switch to make disconnecting the power after shut down and being able to power up when ready easier. My dream was easily fulfilled and ready to buy another pi to use the second one with. Very happy purchase.

Gets the job done.
I use this switch to control power on a Raspberry Pi Zero. It has been working well for me.

package came with 2, one of them worked fine, one didn't work.
2 of these arrived in the package. One of them works fine (switches power on and off to a connected usb powered device - in my case a bluetooth receiver). The other one was dead on arrival - will not pass power through to device. I only needed one, and they were quite inexpensive, so I'm not sending this back - but word to wise that quality control is clearly not great. Also, just a reminder that this switch is designed to work ONLY for USB power, it's not going to work on a line that carries data as well. It also mean it may not work to charge some usb devices because some smart phones need data to regulate how they charge, etc.
