iJDMTOY Switchback Dual-Color White/Amber 336-SMD LED Angel Eyes Halo Rings Kit Compatible with BMW E36 E46 3 Series E39 5 Series E38 7 Series (Fit Xenon Trim ONLY)

Just got it installed yesterday on my 97 E38 750iL , it took the technician couple hours to install it, but it was really worth it, they look just like original BMW parts, and they are surprisingly bright, I hope not too bright for police to pull me over. You can almost drive within city without the head lights on. I noticed also that the right and left rings blink in sequence like an ambulance :) when you start the car, before you turn the lights on, which somehow cool, but am not sure if this is a feature or there is something wrong in my car :D.The only issue I have now, is that when I was driving to work the very next morning, I noticed one of the turn key rings was not blinking, the white was still working, but the amber light wasn't, it is a bit frustrating as it took long time to assemble, and for the record, that ring was a bit loose when I first opened the box.I will be visiting the technician today (again!) probably, and will update with results.Update: when i started the engine again after work, it blinkers were just fine.. :)

These turned out amazing and look great at any time of day. However they are freakishly bright to the point where you get lense flares sometimes when taking pictures. This issue wasn’t super hard to deal with I just had to install a dimmer switch. Overall these are a great product that’s a bit finicky to instal and has its ups and downs but I wouldn’t let that deter you.

Nice and bright

the colors are bright and nice,only downside is the time for the white light to come on after using the blinkers.Install was pretty easy and was done in like 3-4 hours total. Clamps to tap into the blinkers didnt work right out of the box, but with a little bit of modifications there was a good connection.Haven't tried the fade-in/out connection since I didn't use the fuse wiring that came with the kit.

The angel eyes worked really good.

My experience with this product and vendor was very awful.First the converter box failed within a week of purchase/installation. Second, customer support is not the greatest as they wanted me to send back the whole package back for further testing when the converter box is clearly the problem and failed to provide me with a replacement. Customer service wanted me to pretty much buy the item again so that is dissapointing.The rings are great maybe a little too bright but great. Additionally, on initial turn on the rings flicker as the computer is testing for faulty corner lights for about 5 seconds. The worst was that as the computer checks faulty bulbs every minute or so, the signal throws off the converter box which makes the DRL halo flicker almost every minute; probably making the driver ahead of me thinking I want to bug him or something. I don't really recommend this vendor due to the quality of their converter boxes.This item will be returned from an e46 owner who had too many problems regarding this Switchback halo kit and not being able to receive a replacement.

Definately not for the OEM "purist" but look darn good!!! I had a different set of halos that were plain white leds. I wanted to update the look of the car and these really looked good. One of them broke so I needed to replace the whole set and bought these for the added "phreak factor" of the switchback. Hardest part is removing the headlights. Wiring is straightforward and simple. Very visible, the amber turn signal effect leaves no doubt as to your intentions...
