Nice, well thought out mosquito tent
I ordered this because my wife and I do a mission trip every year and we sleep in barracks and biting insects can be a problem. I had seen others with similar mosquito net tents so thought I would give this a try. I have not tried this outside but expect it would work well. The screen's weave is tight enough and I could not find any gaps where an insect might get in. This is a nice, well thought out tent. When you take it out of the carrying bag and remove the strap, it basically pops up into the tent and you are ready to go. Some of the features I like are: 1) easy set up; 2) it is a good size for my wife and I. We are both under 5'7" so not sure how it would work for a taller person; 3) door is easy to operate and has ties to keep it open but a good zipper to keep it closed as well; 4) there are a couple of hanging hooks inside; 5) it is relatively light weight; and 6) there are straps to attach it to a cot or air mattress. The one drawback is that the packed size is 26 inches in diameter so it probably cannot be packed into a suitcase so it would have to be a separate checked bag if flying. Taking it down is a little tricky but, there is a video demonstrating how to do it and once you do it once, it should be easy to do again.

lightweight, portable mosquito netting tent
The mosquitoes aren't out yet, so I can't comment on th ebug protection, but the mesh is similar to effective mosquito netting I have, so I am sure it will be effective. I am able to lie down and sit in it, and I appreciate the plastic hanging hook and large pocket on the side opposite the door. It is very easy to open--it pops up on its own. The folding back was more of a challenger. I highly recommend watching the video on Amazon AND reading the descriptions on the video. (It would have been more helpful had they spoken the directions rather than having background musak playing). I took off one star just for the putting away sequence; If you did it often, it would be very simple, but for occasional use, you might have to re-watch the video, especially for folding in the side pieces. I think this would be especially great on a cot or pad outside. My camping days are long since gone, so I will be using it if I want to sit out during bug season.

Bugged out!
This thing is awesome. Undo the elastic strap, toss in the air, and it expands and is ready to use. Done? Simply fold both ends toward each other making a “C” shape, push down on the side with the exposed poles and fold it over itself. Put the elastic band back over it to keep it closed, put in case, and zip up. I love how easy you deploy and fold back up it is. Being so lightweight, it comes with stakes to keep it in place in the wind. I’m 5’8” and have about a foot and a half of extra space beyond head to toe and fit perfect. It has convenient internal hooks and pockets to hang and store stuff while inside. The mesh is such that it allows fresh air but also looks to block all insects aside from maybe no-see-ums. I love the functionality and ease of use. This thing is awesome.

Fun for our Indoor Camping Party and comes with a great storage bag...
Super excited about this pop-up tent and it is the perfect size for what we want to use it for. We are having in inside camping sleep party and our two boys will have a great time playing pretend camp out. We would do the real thing but we save that for cooler weather. This is just fun with flashlights and the quality is great. Love the fact that it can be folded so nicely and what a great carry bag for storage...all very good quality. I recommend this product.

Restful outdoor sleeping
what a wonderful ways to ensure comfortable outdoor sleeping. Easy to set up and take down, well constructed of good quality materials and designed to do the job properly. Collapses with no effort and stores easier than sun shades for the car. So light weight but still maintains its form after continual use. Almost high enough to Sit on a short stool in, definitely works for keeping young ones out of the mosquitoes and safely playing. Great idea and design, functions as stated and is so reasonably priced.

Nice economy tent
This is a cool little popup mosquito tent. It's easy to set up and take back down. It's a bit small inside but can fit a couple kids comfortably, a small to medium adult just fine, or a couple adults that are cozy. It is made of fairly cheap materials, so I don't expect it to last al that long, but it works and will probably last the season.

Finally, I Can Sleep Peacefully at Fish Camp
Made with quality netting and well-stitched seams, this mosquito-proof “tent” sets up instantly -- as soon as you release its elastic strap and let go of the loops. It has a zippered opening on one side only, but its symmetrical design lets you put your head or feet at either end. It has enough headroom to sit up inside the tent, and when you lay down the netting stays up and off your head. If you plan to sleep on an air mattress, I’d place this tent on top of the air mattress and not try to fit the air mattress inside the tent. Four small stakes and four guy lines are included. Folding it up and fitting it back into its zippered carry case is not an esoteric intelligence test. It’s terribly easy. Just read and follow the instructions (sewn into the carry bag), and/or watch the video demonstration included in the Amazon listing. You only need to fold it onto itself once and then refasten the elastic strap. Poof! and Viola!

This Thing Is Amazing
This arrived today and oh I love this thing! I opened the round carry pouch and took it out and once you start to open it POOF its insta-tent! Material is very attractive and whole thing has a very nice presentation. I fumbled through trying to put it back folded up for a bit, the rods were very forgiving of my blunders. I finally came here and watched the video and that did it for me. There is a tag attached that has the instructions on it with pictures but that didn't really work for me. Size wise, its fantastic....I'm 6'6 and it feels room laying down inside. I know the item page says for camping but this thing is tailor made for people in the south and other humid environments. 4th of July firework shows, outside concerts, an outside lecture at a university...its so light and opens so POOF you could use it for all kinds of things.
