These chain links were advertised as reusable and I have now received them to find that they are a cheap poor quality link which would be unsafe to use again with the potential to cause a lot of damage to the chain and gearing when they fails. The links are not as the photo shows which has a part no displayed. These links are unbranded with no brand or manufacture no.Not value for money and not as decribed

Wouldn't trust aside from emergency.
Wanted some quick links for emergency repair and baulked with the price of the branded ones. Thoughts I'd give these a try. They look like quick links but they don't feel as solid as the real deals. So I think they are only safe as an emergency get you home link for sitting in the saddlebag for all those months you never need them and then a gentle ride home after a chain problem.Basically, buy a branded one, a broken chain might just kill you and I wouldn't trust these not to break.

Saved me whilst out on a ride
Long story short ... I bought these to refit a chain and to carry with me on rides. Coincidentally the chain snapped whilst out and I needed to fit the repair link.Having fitted links before I know they can be ‘challenging’ ... this one was a bit, but not any more/less than fitting a Shimano version.

Great value and easy to use
Great value for money split links, saved me from buying a new chain after I pushed a rivet out all the way by accident. No need for the special tool, just grab the chain either side of the link with a cloth to avoid slipping, give a sharp tug in opposite directions and the link snaps nicely into place.

Very good, but make sure you order the right one for the particular speed of the gears.
