Garmin fenix 5 Plus, Premium Multisport GPS Smartwatch, Features Color Topo Maps, Heart Rate Monitoring, Music and Contactless Payment, Carbon Gray Titanium

I got this because I had a cardiac event recently and I wanted something to automatically track my heart rate. I was taking it manually about ten times a day and that was a real nuisance to do. The Fenix 5+ is nice as it does it for you and displays it on the screen. I'm coming from a Forerunner 630 so I was used to a touchscreen but am getting used to using the buttons on the 5+. I set it up with iTunes on my Mac and it's nice that it will just pick up your playlists and podcasts. I wasn't expecting that.It has weather, maps (haven't updated those yet), and I haven't taken it for a run but I will soon and I'm sure that it will be great.Only minor headache is that I couldn't use the DLC Titanium band - it says to bring it to a jeweler to size. So I used the included silicone band and it's fine. But I do want to get the metal band when I have the time to do so. I plan to get payments working too.

Very nice, but very big for small hands

I use my Fenix 5 Plus for weight training, running, and golfing. I am blown away by the device's ability to identify strength training activities including pull ups, which I would have assumed that it would not measure well. What impressed me most was the golf tracking capabilities. When I got to my ball, all I had to do was look at the watch and I knew exactly how far to the pin. There was no need to push any buttons. I charge it about once per week, so battery life has been impressive as well.

After some time with this watch, I have to say that I absolutely love everything about it. I would definitely recommend this watch to folks. Great UI, Great battery life, intuitive and extremely easy to use.

Great watch at a great price. Took a little work to get it set the way I wanted, but liking it so far!

Great watch looks good battery life is amazing

The watch itself was pretty good at what it does. The only issue I had was that the battery life was nowhere near what Garmin claims. Ended up returning it as charging it every couple days was not something I was looking to do. If a somewhat long battery life is important to you, you should probably look elsewhere.
