Bought this as an extra air conditioner to cool off my downstairs once I put the baby to bed and close the door. Cools off the room very quickly. Was easy to put in the window. Was a good price. Kind of annoying though because it needs to be drained or have a drain hose and then the bucket needs to be drained.

This is a great product which cools our RV with limited space. We are very happy with the product. There is just one minor problem.We need a flash light to see the lettering on the controls. It is very hard to read without light. Otherwise., we would highly recommend for small spaces.

Works well in my large bedroom. Cools it nicely, a little noisey if you crank it all the way down. My upstairs used to get around 85 degrees on a hot day, but this helps keep it cool now!

Unit has mesh filter on side but not on the condenser/ radiator in back, which means air can and does enter from outside... and pet hair, dust etc. will clog the cooling fins eventually with no way to clean it.But that's not the worst thing...The first one I received two days ago worked beautifully for FIVE whole minutes before developing a knocking noise inside. On high speed the knocking was way too loud for comfort... and pretty scary. So I left it on low speed and felt I could probably be okay with the noise.Little did I realize things were going to get worse. Within the next 20 minutes the blower fan knocked all the fan blades into pieces inside the unit and that was the end of that.No more air. No more cooling. Unfortunately I had stepped out for tacos after 10 minutes and when I returned the damage was already done.This unit killed itself in 30 minutes!!So I got an identical replacement today.(Thank you Amazon).This new one thankfully blows air without the knocking noise BUT... the compressor for cooling only comes on for 30 seconds (if that), turns off and reverts back to hot warm air for 7 or 8 minutes.Compressor will come on for 30 seconds (if that) and shuts off for another 7 or 8 minutes... repeating this cycle over and over.I have ordered a different brand. Two in a row with different issues that render then worthless for what they are used for is unacceptable.Be wary, fellow shopper.Great airflow and louvers is the only good thing I can say about this particular unit(s).

Exceptional customer service. These guys are a safe buy. I brought two of the 1000 btu portable A/C Units. They work good, but most importantly. They are sold by a company who will provide customer support, not just say they will and then don't. So stop looking. By this one if 1000 btu is good for you or click air choice I think it is for seller because they have bigger ones. Hopes this helped some people.

Keeps our <1000 square foot cottage cool with no humidity. So thankful we purchased this. And would purchase another if needed somewhere else. The noise level. Was not loud and very easy to install. Love that it is portable and can move to a different room. Great value for the money.

This thing pulls water out of the air at an amazing rate. I have a 5 gallon bucket to catch the water and I have to dump it out a couple times a day. I’ve had portable A/C units before and they were pretty lackluster. This thing makes my living room like a refrigerator. I put the unit on a night stand so it would drain properly. Maybe the only downside.

My hopeful expectation turned into huge disappointment. This unit came nowhere close to my set target temp in a 180 sq ft , heavily insulated room. Outside air temp was around 90 degrees.It did work fine, blowing out fairly cool air as long as you were sitting 5 or 6 feet in front of it, but I noticed that the exhaust tube produced a huge amount of heat that, of course, heated the very room that the a.c. was trying to cool. It helped somewhat when I wrapped the tube with insulating material to try to contain some of the heat.Amazon was gracious enough to allow me to return the product. I then decided to purchase a different brand (Mora) rated for 250 sq ft and 6,000 btu.... same results!Looking back, I probably should have consulted with a local a.c. contractor before making any purchase and relied less heavily on glowing reviews.
