Quality steel stem, wheels work great
I got one of the queen beds without castors and I guess it is a budget cut, but I like to clean and vacuum under the bed and not being able to slide it around on the carpet ticked me off. I found these on line and they worked great. They came with the plastic cover over the stem which you need to hammer into the metal foot on the frame. Strong sturdy steel and the rolling wheel itself is a hard plastic resin of some sort. Very happy with this pick.

Good quality casters
Very happy with the quality of these casters. They were actually sturdier than the ones that came with the frame. Had to pry the small broken piece of plastic out of one of the frame legs before it would accept the new caster but once that was done it fit perfectly. I recommend this product.

Sturdy
I was short 4 casters for a bed frame that I was given from a family member. These fit the bill and are sturdier than the two that came with the frame. Not to mention they lock which is a nice feature. Installation was as easy as pull the plastic caps, and plug into the existing sleeves on the frame.

Very sturdy
These installed super easy on a regular metal frame. They are large and sturdy, I have no worries about them falling apart. They roll easily. Overall a great purchase

Difficult to install
Out of the box these are impossible to install. The plastic insert has a very blunt, squared off tip. I had to file the sides of the tips in order to provide a slight tapper that would allow it to be inserted into the legs, and then much pressure needs to be applied for them to slide fully into the leg. Also, there is a ridge in the center of the wheels, formed in the casting process. If this ridge isn't removed it will create depression marks in a wood floor whenever the bed is rolled around. Again, I used a file to remove this ridge.Lastly, the locking mechanism is poorly designed. First of all, if spun too far clockwise, the end tip will drop down to floor level, allowing the potential possibility of gouging into a hardwood floor. Secondly, it will not fully lock up the wheel to prevent spinning.I would recommend looking for a non-locking type of caster with tapered inserts, and unless you're prepared to modify these, only use them on a carpeted surface..

Very useful!
After having my bedframe sit on the floor with no wheels now for well over 2 years, I decided to give these a try. After removing the insert cap, the wheel fit perfectly and I can now roll the bed where ever or whenever I need to.
