SRAM MRX 21 Speed (3 x 7) Grip Shift Set, Black

The original left-hand shifter had 3 notches or clicks, while this one has 7. Still works for the 3 numbered gears. The original wire had a clip on the end of it that required me to cut the end of the wire off so I could slide the sleeves off the old and reinstall on the new wire. About 3 adjustments to the anchor point and the front shifter works great. Same quality and materials as the original. Would buy again.

Super easy to install. Albeit, might take some adjusting of the gearing but, they work very well. Not huge on biking so I could sound like a fool here to the seasoned biker potentially reading this but, I prefer these over the thumb / finger press / pull style sifters. Seems a bit quicker and more responsive if you have them tension-ed correctly. No complaints! Very good \ direct replacement product for a low price.

Nice product. The shifter on my fat tire mongoose bicycle finally broke. I replaced with this one , nice upgrade. Easy install, watched a utube video on adjusting the rear derailleur to get the adjustment for the gears. Any compitent person should be able to do this in 1/2 hour. Shifts cleaner and smoothly now. I recommend a pair of gloves if you are prone to sweating, slippery hands will slide on the shifter.A good purchase. The click shifter were my first choice but they have been out of stock for a couple months. This one was in stock and was stated to be a direct for my bike.

Bought these to replace the SRAM grips on my daughter's Schwinn. This is an older Chinese big box bike and the grips were sticky goo. Shimano derailleur. Installation was easy and calibration a breeze. Adjusted slack and all gear positions fell into place. Matched it with some new stationary grips and cable housings from Amazon and bike is ready to go.

Good product. It was super easy to install and it works fine after one months of use.

Shazaam! Exactly what my son needed for his bike. He has a Schwinn and his shiftier broke. We purchased this one and it was an exact match to the original one that came with the bike. We did search on youtube to make sure we were installing it correctly. It took us longer to find a video and watch it then it did to install this. It works great!Just a note: The picture does not show you but it comes with both shiftier and the cable.

Part is good. What I needed.Trouble was, they sent two of the left (front) shifter. It's supposed to be a set, and I really only needed the right (rear) shifter. Even if they sent me two of the right, I could have used it. But I had to send it back and fixing my daughter's bike took another week or two.*The return was smooth and the seller sent out the new one right away.

The shifters work great and are a good value. The only thing I may mention is it has a set screw instead of a punch fit to the handle bars, the set screw does work well though.
