Corsair Vengeance M65 FPS Gaming - Maus - Maus

Why is the price for this WAY over suggested retail, and all the other listings?Is it magic? What's the deal here?

The mouse is generally great. It looks durable, comfortable, very precise and of course looks nice.After I disabled all acceleration in the OS, mouse acceleration due to it's sensor is hardly noticeable if there is any. (As reported in some articles, there actually is.)Issues: It is a little heavy even without all the weights, which could be an issue in some of FPS games. The sniper button is unreachable for one with fingertip grip and a little difficult to reach also with palm grip (so it's useless to me). In my opinion, it's slide on many surfaces isn't really very smooth compared to other mouses I used and a little noisy, too (but latter can be an issue due to my crappy old desk). I don't recommend to use it on any cloth mouse mats, but as I understand, it never meant to use on such mouse pads anyway.I use it currently with a Roccat hard plastic mouse pad (purchased in hurry, because Razer Goliathus wasn't very suitable for it), on which it performs pretty well (regarding also to the sensor and sliding), but I will try it on a Corsair MM400 mouse pad.

Beautiful styled mouse, has a lovely satin feel to the sides that adds grip, the top is more smooth which is excellent when you combine the two. Has the highest dpi setting I've seen with any gaming mouse, and the buttons are led backlit. The weight is perfect and its adjustable if it not your satisfaction also there is a metal construction on the bottom that may add to the rigidity and life of the product.On to some of the cons I have to adjust the position of my hand to use the sniper button which doesn't light up. The sniper button is a handy feature where it slows down your aim. Whether this was designed purposely to be further forward its hard to know but it does take a good click down to activate. I does fit in the hand which is seen from someone else review they could hardly get that much wrong. The software isn't good I could only manage to map one button and it only has windows 7 desktop functionality.

Arrived well packaged and exactly on time.Product feels solid and military, exactly what you would expect.Pretty much plug and play but if you want to customize your keys and other aspects the downloadable software is easy to use.The DPI switch lights up a nice dark orange and the mouse keeps your hand coolFor the price i am very happy and would recommend this mouse to any gamer.

Great mouse from Corsair for FPS gaming. Well built and going strong after more than six months. Great feel to the mouse and great performance with robust buttons.I also use the mouse for WoW in conjunction with a Logitech G13 Gamepad. Although the number of buttons on the mouse may appear too few for an MMORPG, I believe you can have too many - after all unless you are disabled, the addition of a Gamepad will provide all you need for a great experience.For any game by mapping the side buttons as Shift, Control or ALT (pick any two) will allow you to treble the functionality of your gamepad if you use oneAll in all a great mouse for FPS and versatile enough for other genres.

I have used this mouse for about a year now and its perfect. I previously use the Cyborg series of mice but they kept breaking so was looking for a similar design and feel but wouldn't keep breaking. As corsair have a great reputation for quality products this seemed the logical replacement. I was not disappointed, it handles very well and the added 'Sniper' Button on the side it perfect for any FPS player. (I mainly use it on BF4 when playing Recon and works great).
