nice and slick when applying a little makes a lot. Dries clear and hard
I have tried many different paper mache solutions. This is better than home made for several reasons. It is quicker to make. I love the nice slickness in applying the paper. Seems to dry faster. Maybe because it seems to need less amount on each paper strip and sticks great. Dries clear and hard. Easier for me to create smooth base shapes without a lot of filling in dips and bumps. When I first saw the small box that arrived I thought it wasn't much for the money but discovered a little bit of powder makes a large amount. I'll still use flour and water recipes for simple projects with the kids. This is my "professiona result" go to.

Do anything
I mixed it in a bucket without measuring the amount of water too closely and it set up fine. It lasts FOREVER in a container. You could mix a bunch and let it sit for a month covered and still use it. But when its used with paper on a project it was dry in just a few hours. It was really easy to work with. My 4 year old was even able to make a pinnate. I made a full body cast with chicken wire and this and paper (see photo) with just 3 layers of newspaper and house wall paint it made it through 4 jumps and a race.

Deceptively large amount
Got this for paper mache. Hadn't done it since the 80's with flour and water. These tiny boxes create a huge amount of clear, thick glue. The directions say you MUST use the entire box. Not true. We split it in half and it was way way way more than enough for our first project.

Good value but know what you’re getting
So people seem a bit confused as to what this product is. It is a powder that when mixed according to the instructions, produces a PVA glue that dries clear. I used it as paste for a papier-mâché mask using paper strips. It is NOT papier-mâché clay, or a papier-mâché pulp. It’s basically clear glue. Each box makes an ENORMOUS quantity. Like, quarts of the stuff.I do wish there were instructions on the package on what the ratios would be so that you could mix up a small amount. However, if you have an airtight container or jar, you can save any unused portion indefinitely for other projects. I imagine it would be a cheap way to produce the glue needed for slime etc. but I don’t have any experience with that use.

Great choice!
This is a great choice if you are doing papermache! Practice with it some, it's very different from other glues. Dries clear!

This stuff is awesome!
This stuff works great, is not messy, and a small batch goes a long way. Dries quickly and I keep the leftover in a sealed container and can keep reusing it.
