PECOTH109-009 Multi Use Line Voltage Thermostat, Gray

Bought this and didnt install for nearly a year after I bought it. The thermostat is very erratic and varies wildly over 10+ degrees, even when running reasonably close it still varied a lot and drove the furnace crazy. sometimes it would stick on and run continually. I was using it in a greenhouse.I reinstalled the Peco single stage thermostat that I was using prior and it works perfectly.I have multiple temperature sensors in the greenhouse that record temps every 1 minute so I know exactly how this unit was behaving.In a small greenhouse environment the 2 stage thermostat does not work as the temp never drops low enough to kick the 2nd stage on. I wired in a toggle switch to the old single stage thermostat that allows me to select hi or low heat depending on the season/short term temps.Looks like i got a bum unit and way past date to get warranty or return. They probably make great stuff and I got stuck with a bad one.
