I've bought many costumes and masks over the years, some cheap, some very elaborate, so I know how deceptive the product images can sometimes be. At this price, I figured this mask was worth the gamble, but I have to admit that I didn't expect it to look quite as perfect as it does in the picture. Needless to say I was very pleasantly surprised when this little gem arrived! It's really very beautiful and looks remarkably just like the photo!I ordered this for a quick and inexpensive Halloween option. The box it came in was small, but the way it was placed in the package kept it perfectly safe. Mine arrived with the same black colored glitter-glue accent design. Nice and subtle, but adds some glam. There are 3 medium-size peacock feathers on the left side (while wearing), accented by some black feathers that curl up and outward so that they easily sit in front of your hair.The mask doesn't align to my profile like a glove (nor did I expect it to for the price), but once it is pulled tight it adheres to my face and certainly isn't uncomfortable. The inner side doesn't have any scratchy or slick material, rather it is clad in fabric, so you don't find yourself itchy or your skin sweating right away.The ribbon I suppose could be considered a bit of a pain compared to normal elastic ties, but to be honest I prefer this as elastic bands can often be too tight, too lose, and just too irritating, not to mention ugly. This mask's satin ribbon is attractive, so it adds a bit of elegance.I love masks - having purchased handcrafted designs for up to $500 (yes, that's how much I love them). This of course doesn't look like an expensive handcrafted mask, but it is also MUCH more attractive than the average cheap costume mask. This design makes a sleek and sexy accent to a costume or I could even see myself wearing it with a black cocktail dress to the right New Year's party.The best part of this purchase... This little beauty is a steal for the price! I highly recommend trying it out! :)

Beautiful to look at. Only OK to wear. The back is textured plastic without a lining, so it sticks to your face. Had I had a little more time, I think glue-gunning a layer of specially cut felt might have really helped it. The ribbons to tie it on are adequate but could have been thicker/prettier/more substantial. Eye holes are a little on the small side for complete comfort if you have long eyelashes or are wearing mascara. I wore it for hours, but had to push it up to my forehead by the end of the evening.

The mask is really cute, doesn't look cheap & fits well. I would have loved it but the feathers on the mask are really bent/ curled. I don’t know if this happened due to the packaging or if they came this way. They look really messy & curl in, so when I put the mask on the feathers lay right above my mouth. I'm going to have to remove the feathers & glue on some new ones. I'm sure once I replace the feathers it will look better (I hope) but for the price I really shouldn’t complain, guess it's a risk you take ordering online.

I was invite to a masquerade 'yay for paying off my student loan debt finally' party this weekend. My dress is black with peacock feather embroidery, so my goal was to find a cheap mask (only going to wear it once) to match. This looks great with the dress; however, is it a white mask that looks to have been spray painted. I opened the package and flakes of the pant were cracked and chipped off (right at the bridge of the nose). Since I don't have time to return and wait for a replacement, I patched it up with thick gobs of acrylic paint. It only has to last one night, so whatever. It is pretty small- I am petite and it worked on my small face. If you have a wide/very round face, this will probably be too small.

It is incredibly beautiful. The feathers look incredible sand frame the mask perfectly. Mine did have one very tiny feather that stuck out a bit towards the face but I fixed it in under a minute by adjusting its position. The detailing on the mask itself is very well done. It looks like it should be much more expensive than it actually is. The ribbons are very well fixed on to the mask and are the perfect length to tie around the face. Only bad thing is that the material made my face sweat under it and some of my makeup rubbed off, however, that happens with all masks.

Beautiful mask. I bought this for my Halloween costume but ended up using it as a decorative piece in my house bc of how pretty it is. I gave this 4 stars only because if you were to wear this for intended purposes, I would rather an elastic band than a ribbon to tie (in order to keep it on) because no matter how tight you tie the ribbon, it loosens and you have to constantly readjust it.

I love peacocks. When I was invited to a casual masquerade party, I knew my mask had to have peacock feathers in it. When I saw this mask, I fell in love and ordered it immediately.When I received it, though, I was disappointed. While very pretty, the feathers don't lay the way I'd expected them to. Instead of staying relatively flat and fanning out away from my face, the bottom part of the feathers curled up and inward, covering my mouth. Also, the area covering the nose is very narrow, which smushed down my relatively wider nose.I wouldn't recommend this mask.

I really loved this mask. I bought it for a Prom at my college and it matched my dress perfectly. It was a little small on my face but was still really nice. I ended up not using it because my friend needed a mask but i still love it!
