Extremely powerful for size
I mounted this on a 2021 CFmoto 400 and it really does the trick. I have used this mainly for my snow plow attachment but I have also used this around my property to move trees, Cars, unwanted boulders. The winch really does the job and keep going. I have used this for way for then it should be used but it works like a Charm. I really really like the wireless remote it lets you get away from the vehicle or quad or whatever you have it mounted to and still be able to use the winch. This would actually be a really good addition to a car trailer or boat trailer. Use the wireless remote so that you can load with more ease. The only real down side to this is the installation. If your not familiar with your quad or electronics you should probably have a licensed mechanic or tech install this for you. I really love this addition to my quad and use it regularly.10/10 would recommend this for anyone looking for a winch5/10 on ease of installation but that comes with being a mechanic

Recommend. Met my expectations.
I have purchased several winches. I like this one for my application because of the cable attached control box. At first, thought the control box was somewhat big but using it, was good. The control buttons were comfortable and positive. Seamless operation, not real loud. This product is well built.

It's a strong little unit for the price.
I've been using it to drag Oak logs around my property. It has been a lifesaver and back saver.I bolted it to a steel angle iron bracket I made with an eyebolt. Then I put a chain on that and hook it to my trailer hitch or a tree. With the smaller logs, 12" - 18" dia., it dragged and or rolled them quite well. When I got to the larger diameters I took the hook and pulley setup off of an old hand come along, I never used them anyway. Then I was able to double up the cable to increase the pulling capacity. The cable on the reel is plenty long enough, even when doubled up.It's actually better to have the cable all of the way out when pulling hard, you must make sure it wraps evenly across the spool. If not the cable will kink and jam into itself with potential to break strands. I was hesitant to get one with the nylon rope that might solve the kinking problem.Allin all a good little unit.

It works great for me
This is my 3rd winch the other 2 was from 2 different stores and I took both back. There was nothing wrong with them they just wouldn't work for me. This one works perfect for me I put a hook in my shop and it pulled my zero turn up and I could get to the blades without any problem, I hooked it up to the back of a commercial zero turn and it pulled it up on a 18 foot trailer with no problems, the wireless remotes works perfect. I'm really impressed with the way it works.

Awesome addition to my trailer
Bought to load my zero turn lawnmower on my trailer when it won’t start to take it in for repairs. It was used to pull my tractor out of the ditch which often happens with Zero turn mowers. I pulled a loaded trailer up a steep hill to spread some mulch and the front wheels of the tractor came off the ground so I could not steer it to back down safely . My wife worked the remote and I steered the trailer while she let me down slowly/safely. I mounted the winch permanently on the front of the trailer.Caution though. Be sure to rewind carefully as it has to be guided by hand so it rewinds smoothly. The price was very low and well worth every penny! My friend bought a winch for twice the price and half the power! Highly recommend this winch.

Complete waste of money.
2500 lb capacity??? Not a chance!I bought this winch to help with a project on which I was working in November of last year. Before it got here I found an alternate plan, so unfortunately, didn't actually use the winch until last week. (6 months later.) BIG mistake! This thing is a bad joke - as is it's 2500 lb rating. A week ago I used it with a couple of snatch blocks to unload a 350 lb piece of equipment from a trailer and it struggled terribly. I did manage to unload the equipment, but it was touch and go. Yesterday I tried to use it to pull a 500 lb motorcycle onto a trailer. It started okay, then slowed to a virtual standstill, and finally stopped. This was pulling a relatively small street bike up a ramp at an angle of about 45 degrees, onto a trailer. Like another disappointed customer whose review I just read (too late), there's no way I'll be able to use this piece of junk to load my larger, nearly 700 lb street bike on the trailer. Maybe it would work with my 220 lb dirt bike? But I wouldn't count on that. (And I can load the dirt bike by myself anyway.)If you're thinking of buying this for it's advertised use as an ATV winch, just DON'T - or you may find yourself stranded in the woods if/when it's needed to pull you out of a bad situation.I am kicking myself for not trying this immediately after I bought it, since it's now obviously past the 30 day return period. Lesson learned...IMPORTANT! - Take a close look at these ratings too. There are at least FOUR DIFFERENT winches reviewed and rated, from 2000lb to 4500lb rated winches - all combined under the same ratings. So the rating system for any single size winch is BS, because the other winches are aggregated in there as well. I can't usefully comment on the other TYT winches, but I can definitively say that the 2500 lb model I bought is junk.Update: The seller saw my review and sent me a replacement winch, which was nice of him. Unfortunately, the replacement was the same model. After using the new one - or at least trying to - I have no doubt that my bad experience with the first winch wasn't simply a fluke. The replacement is every bit as worthless. I honestly believe that this thing would be borderline if rated at only 250 lbs, let alone 2500. Maybe someone at the factory left out a decimal point in the rating?

Not Impressed
Installed This on my utility trailer. Sometimes you just get a feeling somthing is cheap. By the simple things they leave off to cut corners.Like no brake on the cable release. Causing all the cable to immediately unspool. Then tangle and snarl inside the winch mechanism. Now imagine being in the middle of no where. Trying to pull yourself out and when you flip the cable release for cable slack. And the entire cable ubspools and jams inside the winch. Taking an hour or more to fix.WHILE your stuck in the middle of nowhere. DO NOT BUY.
